Being someone who isn't familiar with old games, I don't really know what to buy and what not to buy from the Virtual Console. I've already bought Super Mario Brothers 3 and that's really the only old game I can think of that I remember being fond of enough to buy. Anyone have some suggestions?

Star Tropics, either of them. Seriously. Great little dungeon crawler/platformers with some fun boss fights. The controls don't feel entirely busted either when you play them today like many other NES games, especially the second game in the series. It's great.
