I will be traveling about 20-30 hours this summer maybe more and I have a old gameboy color. I have very little funds being a poor college student and im thinking about either buying some old gameboy color games  like pokemon or buying a new a ds lite.  I dont really want to spend the money on the ds lite but is it worth it? or should i just go out and spend money on some older games?

Dude, just get some Game Boy Color games. Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Link's Awakening DX, Super Mario Bros. DX, Pokémon Gold/Silver (or Crystal), and Wario Land 3 are all good Game Boy Color games (and then you have the entire Game Boy library too, which is awesome).

I agree withStarFoxA- A Game Boy colour has plenty of games =D If you don't have much money to spare, you can quite happily make the most of the consoles you have.

The GBC is pretty good with batteries so for 20-30 hours they probably wont come into it. Unless your using it day to day then your probably safe, if not recharable batteries worked well for me.

Well maybe YOUR parents bought you GOOD batteries... Ha! Nah, just don't forget to bring them. It's a bummer when you have to dig around looking for something to yank batteries out of.

I would just worry about the lack of a backlight, if your traveling 30 hours, and my math is correct, some of that time will be spent in the dark.
