A giantbomb idea - Quick Look Requests.

Seeing as how popular QL's have before I thought of an idea seeing as the Endurance Run and TANG are over the GB guys could do Quick Look Requests. Basically what they are is people can request a game(within reason, so nothing on the odyssey or anything) and they pick one each week to do a quick look of.
 
It would be fun seeing them play an old PS1 game(like they did once before and the DC games, which times they were hilarious) and comment on it, especially the bad ones. :)
It gives people a chance to see older games they might not have ever seen or played before too.

I think I've seen this topic before. Anyways, this would be pretty damn sweet if they did it. But I'm guessing they are busy with new games right now to be able to do this.

It's sweet, but I don't think they would do it.

i ask for another endurance run! whatever the game i'd bee ok with it :)

any new feature would be nice. 

I think it would be cool with a feature where you could submit a request for a Quick Look. 
Only you wouldn't be able to spam it so it would have to be one request each month for each user or something like that. 
 
But I'm also fully happy with them just doing what they're doing now, no doubt about that at all. 
Although I would love to see them do an Endurance Run of LSD for the PS1 :D

Yeah this would be pretty cool. Though I'm in agreement that any new content/feature would be nice at this point. The weekly content for the site is now surprisingly low, compared to what it was.

no, its not as funny as new games coming out today that are bad, because a lot of times, quick looks are the first time we have seen a game, especially one that is bad.  First time I heard of Jurassic the Hunted was that quicklook, same for Darkest of days.  We all have experiences with bad games on the PS1 or N64.  The site keeps itself current by doing modern quicklooks.

i really wanna see a quick look of the new mount and blade game, but that's coming out in march :\

The user who has made the bigest contribution that week/month gets to make a request. The contribution could be in the form of good wiki edits, awesome forum threads/blogs, writing a kick ass review, producing or adding to a guide and so on

I just want more video content. it's getting empty and saddening because of that. I think after the rush there may be a chance for some more things?

Yeah, I can see it being a once a month feature where they do a QL for a game chosen by vote. That would be a cool. "

Maybe during the inevitable summer lull in 2010. I think there are enough new games to look at until Q2 2010. Infact, there are a lot of new games the guys skipped this year because of time constraints and I'd prefer if they did those instead.
