Games are expensive and there are an increasing amount of games that people want to buy.

If a trust worthy retailer were allow you to sign up for a service that allows you to buy games at 50% of the retail cost, would you use this service ?

Requirements/Rules
Submit £400 to that service over a period of 6 months, between April 01 and September 31.
Before being able to purchase any game through this service - you have to submit £80. After submitting £80 to this service - you can then request to purchase two games of your choice.
You can submit your request two weeks before the game is released no earlier.  You can change you choice over the next seven days but at the end of those seven days - your last request will be go forward.

You will get your requested game if enough members of the service request the same game as you have requested.
For argument sake let's say that if the service receives 200 requests for the same game - the service will inform it's members that this game is guaranteed to be purchased at the date of release.
If your requested game does not meet the 200 units quota - you are automatically given the choice of any of the other games requested the other service members but have not met the 200 units quota.

This means that you can use legal means to persuade other service members to submit a request for the game you want.
This service does not allow you to with draw your money from the service as a result of you not getting the game you want.
If you do not get the game you have requested and do not make subsequent requests - your vote will go towards the next game which has the most requests but has not yet met the 200 units quota.

Although you are required to submit your money between April 01 and September 31 - You can start submitting requests for games after you have submitted £80 and continue to submit requests until the following March 31.
At all times of you being a member of this service  -  The service will restrict you from spending the first £40 you have submitted to the service until you have paid £400 to the service.
You have six months to pay £400 to the service between  April 01 and September 31.

The Benefits
You can get 20 top priced games on the dates of release for £400, this is a reduction of 50%.

The draw backs
You can only get your requested game if 199 other service members request the same game seven days before the game is due for release.
You may have to resort to persuading other service members to request the same game you have requested.

Would you consider using a service which has these or similar requirements, if not, why not ?
Please state what would make you consider using a service of this nature.

That sounds terrible though. That's a lot of goddamn money doing the conversion, and also you're not guaranteed your picks and you have to buy a LOT of games for that shit to be worth it.

It also sounds complicated as hell. Much easier to waltz in, grab a game and suck up the full price.
