I am a big fan of the Sims, and I understand it has a popularity among not only gamers but also reaches into the non-gaming culture. But the fact that they are making enough packs and add ons to total over $400 means people must be buying enough of these add ons/packs. So I was wondering, how many people here own The Sims 3 + some of the expansions?

I personally own Sims 3, Ambitions, and World Adventures, I think I got them during a steam sale for around $50 total.

I own Sims 3 and Late Night. For some strange reason I feel sort of ashamed.

I have never played a Sims game before. This seems like a bad time to start.

I stopped caring about the Sims shortly after 2 came out. I kept up to date with all of the expansions for the first game.

Such a terrible song that I couldn't get out of my head.

I was in the same boat until The Sims 3 and I bought the first few expansions before I stopped caring again. If the expansions go on sale for a reasonable price, I'll get back in the game.

That reminds me of an old educational game I used to play all of the time. I can't remember what it was called, but it was pretty popular in the mid-90's and was horror-themed.

It was actually pretty fucking scary for a five year old.
