All World Leaders Have Issued A Video Game Ban

If all the world leaders went bat shit crazy and issued a permanent ban on video games, what would you do? 
Here are few things to keep in mind:
All individuals with video games, as well as video game merchandise in their possession after the ban was passed will be incarcerated for 1 year.  
If you're visiting someone else's home and they have the above items you will be incarcerated as well. It doesn't matter if you were aware or not.
All video game related websites are closed. 

Rebellion! Revolution! 
 
Then gather all gamers and move to the moon and create our own country. Also, develop a super laser to wipe out humanity on Earth.

Honestly? I don't wanna go to jail, so I'd probably do as my government says. Having said that, there'd be too much of an uproar over it. It'd never happen.

They already tried it with pinball games (check your history), and failed.  If the world tried to shut down a multibillion-dollar business, there would be hell on earth.  Thousands of people would be without jobs, and not just people who work directly in the video games industry.  Journalists and and retailers who sell video games would feel the effects of the ban as well.  Japan's economy would probably disappear overnight, and the suicide rate would increase from not being able to play the latest Dragon Quest game. 
 
Of course, people would defy their government by making games underground.  But I think my statement above would be a far more pressing concern.

I'm on-board with this Super Laser idea as long as I get to be Second in Command.

the mod community is good. Honestly, we might end up being better off.

The massive humongous army that this legislation would create would be overwelming. 
But personally, I think I'd go fucking ballistic! 
This's one, of many, of my main sources of relaxation and release. And I wouldn't go all cliche about it and setup an online pertition. 
No, I'd make a picket sign, collect up all the people that this legislation would affect, which would be the humongous army I mentioned, and march on downing street in my countries capitol city demanding that they do what we want, and that they give us an apology while they're on it. 
 
Also, as a side note, I'd demand free deoderant for life for some of the more cliche gamers out there. That's ok though, I sometimes forget about my own hygiene when I'm really enjoying a game. Ha ha!

I would make my own country, and make it a safe haven for gamers. I would build this country with my imaginary money I got from Scrooge McDuck.

Organise a revolution with my friends at The Escapist, we'd get shit done.

I would instigate a rebellion. People who play games would be separated into groups based upon their most visited video game website or podcast. These groups would attack their specified government. No real names are used. The government is finally overthrown on the 22nd of July, 2021. 

I would probably just go to work a little more then I do now and go back to reading a lot. I don't have rebellion in me.

I'd keep playing games. Honestly what kind of effort is the local police force going to put into stopping people playing video games? Especially in a smallish town with one police station moderately staffed.

Same thing I would do if they tried to ban movies or books or music or took away another personal freedom with threats of jail: rebellion.

i would open a studio and call it black market games.

I'd continue my life exactly how it is now. If they tried to arrest me I would resist until beaten unconscious and thrown in jail against my will, in which I would continue to resist. I don't want to live in a world where they can just take shit away for no reason. Replace the word "video game" in the title with "porn", or "tv", or "movies" or any other general freedom we should have and I would have the same reaction.

I'd hook up my games in a TV in the attic or something, out of sight when people come to my place. And I'd only playing games with people I knew well. Basically the same way people deal with pot being illegal.

Play Paintball all day whilst listening to game music  through my iPod pretending I'm in a game....

That scenario is so illogical and unlikely, you might as well ask us what we would do if the world leaders started killing EVERYBODY and that all ducks must wear hats.

Won't happen in America due to First Amendment.  

I guess I'd continue doing whatever it is I do when I'm not playing games.

I would let all those clever PC hacker spam them with angry emails. That's bound to work right?

They don't have enough prisons in the entire world for that. Since I would assume that  about 70% of the modern world (as in, not places where people starve to death or are incredibly poor) has something in their homes that's related to video games. What would I do? Not much I could do, just spend the year incarcerated and wait for the ban to lift.

I'd start making people aware of my world, on the Moon. We don't ban games. Ever.

Take up arms and march through Washington DC.

People would die. That's all I'm sayin'.

Seeing as banning video games makes no sense, there would be a huge uproar from everyone worldwide, and if they still didn't change their mind, Luchadeer would step up and lead the rebellion.  He would recruit Korean RTS players to command all the FPS players in battle, and the 14 million WoW players would work to gather materials and craft the weaponry.

I would be more likely to do something productive.
