Hey guys, for the last few weeks i've been putting some practice into animating, and just today finished my second animation, this one being about the mixed response to the Sony event last week. Hopefully some of you will get a kick out of it!

There's even a little cameo for Jeff, Vinny, Ryan and Patrick! (sorry Brad! next time) See if you can spot them. I'm thinking of doing some Bombcast animations soon, but i'll see what I can do.

i like the animation, but that wasn't funny.

I like the wavy surreal style of the animation.

lol... well the ''core gamer'' guy got a giggle out of me. Overall it was pretty good I'd say, even if it didn't have me roaring. Animation style was very late 90s-mid naughts Cartoon Network, which I liked.

EDIT: Oh maaan, I love your Pokemon parody video, though.

I didn't really find it funny, but I watched the pokemon video and giggled.

I tend to agree about it not being very funny; I think a lot of the effectiveness of comedy comes from pinning down the timing and my inexperience with animation makes that really difficult to nail. Hopefully i'll get better as time goes on.

Glad you guys like the animation! It was particularly time-consuming, but i'm certainly getting faster as time goes on.

Your potential is certainly growing and you're an interesting fellow - keep doing what you're doing!

@lackingsaint: the animation i like, and the pokemon video that others have linked to is pretty funny, so i don't think it was necessarilly the timing.

Hmm, well you can't please everyone I guess, although if you liked the Pokemon video hopefully you'll be able to enjoy some of my videos in the future.

Appreciate the support!

I thought it was pretty funny. I especially liked the guy floating away as the crowd cheered.

I'll echo the fondness for it being surreal and wavy. Everything should be surreal and wavy.

I have a weird thing about perfectly still images in an animation, so i'll try my hardest to make all of my cartoons keep that look for sure.

Remember of course if you guys want to see more of my stuff in the future you can feel free to Subscribe, I don't wanna be spamming the forums every time I make something new after all!

I enjoyed it quite a bit, especially the crowd reaction and the angry core gamer at the end.

I love your animation style by the way, everything is so wiggly.

Ha, I actually thought that was pretty good. Way better than what I expected from the thumbnail.

Patrick is next to Link guy, right?

Correct! The other dudes can be found very early on.

Made another animation relating to video-games, figured this was the most appropriate place to show it to you folks since making a new topic might have come across as videospam. It's a little thing about Bioshock: Infinite, but for clarification THERE ARE NO SPOILERS. Hope you like it!

@lackingsaint: That was pretty good. Maybe you could have added a close-up at the end of his frighteningly jubilant expression, but maybe that would have been too much.

Your style reminds me a lot of Egoraptor, but maybe even more wavy. I like it, though.

Thanks! I want to stop inviting that comparison so much in the future but obviously it's inevitable when you're making sort of short, snappy video-game reference cartoons. Eventually i'm hoping to get into less comparable stuff (as well as doing a couple Bombcastimations)
