Great vid lol, and for it's time it might of been. But skate1 & 2 have completely surpassed my expectations of a skating game. Hopefully they'll try the flicstick idea with inline, though I'm not exactly sure how well it would work.

The best in any genre is hard to categorise, because if there are better games you can often say "THEY DONT COUNT," meaning this thread is kinda confusing.

Jet Set just doesn't fit in with these types of games. Agressive Inline/Tony Hawk aren't comparable to Jet Set in any way at all.
I really liked Aggressive Inline, even though it seems barely anybody had even heard of it. For my money, it's this, THPS 3, or even that Shaba Games skateboarding game back on PS1. What was that called?

Great soundtrack, great gameplay and amazing level design, even though it's been years since I've played it I can still vivdly remeber some of the levels, the movie set, the car factory, the amusement park and the city level, great memories of this game :D

No no, Thrasher was... eh. The game was... Grind Session. Just looked it up. I liked it a lot.
Skate was the best Skating game ever followed by THPS2. Skate 2 was kind of crap but the original was the best. I don't see a roller blade game being much fun though, skateboarding is so much more fun.
I love the tony hawks franchise for it's ultimate crazyness and retarded tasks. personally i enjoyed tony hawks underground 2. it had a good story too.
I'm yet to play either of the Skate games but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is the best skateboarding game I've played. It had a good mix of skating and ridiculousness.
