Any info on Steam for Mac?

I've been waiting patiently for Valve to release the new version of Steam so I can get it for my Mac and start playing some awesome PC games, but my patience is running thin.  I'm tired of valve time and want my steam now!  Does anyone have any inside info on when this is coming out?   If Valve keeps jerking me around and telling me that they'll release it "soon" I may just never play their games again! ...... Alright, probably not, I love Valve's games.
