Anyone else kind of put off by Splinter Cell Conviction?

After recently seeing some new game play footage of Splinter Cell Conviction I was kind of put off by the fact that it looked........a little too different and to be specific it looked easy, too easy, especially with the new "Mark and Execute" mechanic. I know Ubisoft is trying to reinvent the series, but  it almost seems like the game is straying too far from it's origins. Anyone else put off?

Yea, I'm with you. But on the other hand, after a few years without SC, I'm still gonna get this one just to be able to play as Sam Fisher again.

It's one of the games I am most looking forward to this year.

the auto aim feature does seem like it will make it too easy.

I just wish that the Mark and Execute involved at least SOME player interaction, maybe hitting the right trigger when your sights were centered on the target or something of the sort; I'm getting a bit tired of giving up control in favor of "cinematic gameplay".

ummmm you need to make a stealth kill before you can even mark and execute also its not mandatory nobody is making yo do it sooooo if you think it makes the game to easy dont do it ..... problem solved
