OCt 4th-Oct 31st= Dark souls
Nov 1st-10th = Batman
Nov 11th-14th = Skyrim
Nov 15th till I'm done with = Saints row 3
then back to Skyrim, then onto Assassin's creed Revelations
Anyone got their winter game playing planned out?
You're really going to be able to put Skyrim down after a few days? I'm going to be struggling after three months based off past games.
The main games that are coming I still want would be:
- Rage
- BF3
- Skyrim
- Uncharted 3
- Saints Row 3
- motherfucking Tribes son
A lot more like Batman and Dark Souls etc., but those are my key from the remainder and one's F2P!
My current Amazon pre-orders:
- 10/4 - Rage
- 10/11 - Forza 4
- 10/18 - Batman: AC
- 10/25 - Battlefield 3 (might cancel)
- 11/1 - Uncharted 3
- 11/11 - Skyrim
- 11/15 - Saints Row 3
- 11/22 - Skyward Sword (might cancel...is this what it's come to Miyamoto? I'd actually consider not playing a Zelda game.)
Skyrim for a long ass time.
Dark Souls after Skyrim.
Batman at some point.
Skyward Sword is looking pretty rad.
Dark souls, every infinity engine game available on GoG.com, Sam and max series and King's bounty
That and i am still studying in the evening hours to advance my career. Going to start a petition to put more hours in a day.
All I know is I want to play Tales of Vesperia during the winter break.
I bought it a week ago, but with college and all I don't have enough time to play it and enjoy it.
Is it weird the only game I've been thinking about is Eternal Darkness? I played an hour or two the other week, and it's all I've been wanting to play. I think that's going to dominate my 2 week break.
@HarlequinRiot: I'm with you. A friend and I sat down and played through maybe a third of the game the other day. It's a Gamecube high point imo.
This is the current purchasing plan:
- October 7 - Dark Souls
- November 4 - Dodonpachi Resurrection
- November 10 - Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Extend
- November 11 - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- November 15 - Assassin's Creed: Revelations
- November 18 - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
- November 25 - The King of Fighters XIII
I don't have a "play game A for B days, then move on to game X and play that for Y days" plan. I'll just play what I feel like, when I feel like it.
Current plans right now-
Day of Release:
- Dark Souls
- Modern Warfare 3
- Skyrim
Around Christmas time:
- Arkham City
- Battlefield 3
- Uncharted 3
- Assassin's Creed
Maybes:
- Skyward Sword
- Saints Row 3
- Forza 4
- Batman Arkham City
- Skyrim
- Assassin's Creed: Revelations
- Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
- Saints Row 3
My wallet and I aren't talking right now...
Of course I do--what am I, a fucking amateur?
Tuesday I'm picking up Dark Souls and I expect to play that until Battlefield 3 comes out, at which point I will beat the campaign and alternate between multiplayer and more Dark Souls until Uncharted 3 comes out. I'll probably platinum Uncharted before the end of the Nov. 4th-6th weekend at which point I will return to the Battlefield 3/Dark Souls pattern until Skyrim comes out. Then I will commence playing Skyrim for the next two years.
Gears 3 until Skyrim comes out then i'll buy Dark Souls for about $30 in March when i'm done with Skyrim.
Yep, going to be picking up Dark Souls on tuesday. Once I've had my fill of that game after a month and a half or so I'll be going back to my list of games on steam that I still need to finish. That should hold me til around christmas, and I'll hopefully be getting Resistance 3, AC Revelations, Crysis 2, and/or Batman Arkham City as gifts if all goes as planned. Then there's also the steam winter sale. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up Dead Island, Bastion, Deus Ex, Rage, and more at reduced prices during that week.
Most of my winter gaming will be making up games I haven't got to yet. Plus probably a new one. For some reason winter is the perfect time for a 80+ hour RPG.

Wow, even if half of those games suck (which doesn't seem likely), that is going to be an amazing 2 months of games.
Now until November 1: Alpha Protocol and Dark Souls.
November 1-11: Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout New Vegas.
November 11-December 25: Skyrim.
December 25-27: Assassin's Creed Revelations and/or Batman.
December 28 until Mass Effect 3: Skyrim
I'm thinking of trying to get a few more hours of Final Fantasy XIII in before Tuesday, then Dark Souls will steal an indeterminable amount of my time. I might sit down with Child of Eden some more inbetween.
What happens next depends on if I have enough money to justify getting Skyrim or if I just save it for Skyward Sword. If I happen to get done with Dark Souls before either is out I might try to play some more Baldur's Gate.
Next year: SSX.
My descent into madnessnext few months will begin on Tuesday when Dark Souls arrives. I'll play that until I inevitably end up in a fetal position crying in the corner of my apartment with my life in shambles.
From there, I'll punch a guy in the dick in Saint's Row III, restoring order to my personal universe. I might go back to work around this point.
Ok, so for me it looks like Skyrim almost non-stop until Saints Row The Third comes out. I have a 4 day weekend after Skyrim, so at that point I will let my wife have at it. I think I will get Skyrim on the 360 and Saints on PS3 so we won't fight over who plays because as far as I know Saints doesn't have any import features.
By the way, I don't mean actually fight, just bicker.
Definitely Dark Souls from release until the end of October then I'll stop and play Uncharted 3 when it comes out. I honestly don't expect to have much time for gaming until Christmas so those are the only two games I will pick up on their release days. I definitely will play AC Revelations at some point, but will probably hold off until Christmas break to do so.
I'm waffling on Skyrim, I just don't think I have the time for it.
