It's true for me, I'm playing Starcraft 2 and Diablo 2 for the most part. 
At least for now, but some day some good and not-so-generic shooter might come around and I'll probably try that out

Well, I suppose comparatively it's true that there are more FPSs released on consoles than on the PC, but that doesn't mean a lot. To say "hardly anyone" plays them is just ... well, it's almost too stupid to take seriously.
 
Add it to the "no one wants to play online games" and "let's sell for $30 a collection of in-game cinematics" list of idiotic things said by developers. I suppose I can see the point he's trying to make about Kinect, that for a long time people didn't think FPSs would make the move to consoles, and it's pretty obvious that they have, and that people are similarly skeptical about Kinect. But then people thought that RTS games would never make a full transition to consoles and ... well, they really haven't, despite some concerted effort by developers. So even the real point this guy was trying to make is still a bit crazy.

This is true. I don't play PC FPS' anymore and I am no one.

Half Life, Left 4 Dead, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Borderlands, Singularity, Metro 2033, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Unreal Tournament. Yeah, I just went through my Steam list and named some FPS games.   "

But still that's pretty trollish.

I own consoles but my PC runs games in higher resolutions and I love keyboard and mouse control.  I can't wait to run my own server for Black Ops.  People shouldn't run their mouth off, he is obviously oblivious to certain parts of the industry.

PS: In all seriousness, I understand that this Kudo Tsunoda is selling his product, ie Kinect, but FFS, bullshit is not the way to go.

I guess there's a first for everything. Not sure how you could control it with just a keyboard though. Unless you used the mouse as well.

o you, nope i diffently don't play counter strike: source, left 4 dead 2, portal, on my PC. i would have got modern warfare 2 for the PC if they had mod support and dedicated servers. i have it on the ps3 because it does everything. that was a pretty funny thing to say.

People who play games only on PC are going the way of print media. Sure, there several big PC releases every year, but outside of Blizzard and Firaxis, nearly every game worth buying can be purchased and played on a console, with little to no dropoff. That's not to say PC gaming is dead, though. It's a stupid statement by a guy trying to sell a product. Move along, nothing to see here.

This guy does know that outside from the initial launch, the Kinect is going to crash right? Perhaps this is his "moment' where he get's to talk about every ludicrous thing on his mind before he becomes irrelevant under the spot-light. Now if you excuse me, I gotta gets some achievements in Mafia 2....granted it doesn't fit his example of a FPS, but it's a shooter nonetheless that I play....on my PC.

Guess what Kudo Tsunoda, after a few months time no one will be playing Kinect anymore. And that's a big bold offensive statement that I made.
