I go into London Drugs, tell dude I want to connect my Xbox and PS3  to one TV with Component cables. He says that's impossible. I tell him it's not. He says yes.

I always assumed alot of people do this. Is there a way so that I can have my Xbox  plugged in and when I flick a switch it changes to my PS3?

You could use a switch box probably. Just find a component cables one.

And assuming you don't know what one is or you'd probably have gotten one, and maybe just incase, it's a box you'd have both cables from the PS3 and xbox going into, then from the box to the tv, and on the box you select the one you want to allow the signal through.

That's a terrible explanation XD

I think It depends which type of component you are talking about, and wether you want to have a hub or not.

@The_A_Drain: My next favorite thing is when someone calls out another user on their spelling and "grammer."

Yes, you can definitely connect 2 devices to one TV using component cables, and you just change the input 'channel' on your TV.   If your TV does not have multiple component inputs, you can purchase a switch that takes 2-5 inputs to one output.  As long as you have at least 1 component input on your TV you can plug as many devices as you, just be warned with switches you may lose some quality.

There are switches. I have one. I can hook up four different things to it and goes through to one input on the TV. Whoever that person was was definitely an idiot.
