I know he is a video guy, but would be cool to see him in front of the camera a bit more. Maybe on unprofessional Fridays? Feels like he has been on the podcast once when he was new but then just been behind the camera all of the time.
Are we going to see Jason in more content.
I thought it'd work like Vinny and Drew, each one running half the UPF show while the other is out playing some games. I'd like to hear Jason get to talk more about fighting games on the show.
Does anyone know of how much on-screen stuff he was involved with at Game Informer? There was a thread talking about this idea earlier, and someone mentioned that Jason himself had admitted that he prefers to work behind the scenes. Then again Vinny has also said he's always prefered working on the production end more so than as a QL'r.
He'll pop out for fighting games from time to time.
Think of it this way. When the site started Vinny was the video/personality guy and Drew was purely focused on production. Now Vinny is gone and Drew got promoted to...new Vinny I guess.
Here's Drew not saying anything at the control station to give you a blast from the past and some perspective.
I hope we will at least see him when there's fighting games going on
In fact. If we see another office Mortal Kombat Scrub League Tournament some time in the future. I want Jason to do the play-by-play.
I believe their intent is for Jason to stay in the background mostly. I do expect to see him from time to time when a fighting game is at the fore, but I think he likes being behind the camera occasionally shouting something at Dan.
I continue to think that him never appearing on camera is all part of one big joke on the part of the staff. Very similar to how they tried to create the illusion of a feud between Patrick and Brad when Scoops began working for the site.
I agree, I would also like to see more content from @jasonr86. When is the next FAQ going to go up!?!?
Lol. They've been postponed dude.
Jason should be part of quick look but should just maintain the audio reverb we are so use to hearing from him by now when he uses the overhead p.a system.
@i_stay_puft: That's just his natural voice.
