Are you going to buy the Wii-U?
Why isn't there an option to say "No" without talking shit about Nintendo? I mean, I'm not interested in their console, but I don't dislike them as a company.
I went ahead and pre-ordered it. I'm fine with the graphical of level of the current generation so I'm not bothered by Wii U's specs. My only fear is that it won't get enough third party support once the new generation hits.
Oddly enough, the first game I wanna play when I get the system is a Wii game: Xenoblade Chronicles.
Terrible poll is terrible. I don't plan to buy it any time soon, but once they do their first hardware revision in a year or two and there are at least 4-5 games on it that I can't get anywhere else that I really want to play I will pick one up. I always end up getting them all eventually, it's just a matter of waiting for enough exclusives to make it worth so. Last winter is when I broken down and got the Wii. I got Wii and around 20 games for it for around $400. Still haven't opened the box of the system, but I got them now.
I would vote if there was an option along the lines of "No. I hope the WiiU turns out to be good but I'm far to skeptical at this point to buy"
No. I'll wait till the PS4/720 come out to make sure I'm not just buying another first party machine
I picked C because it's as close as this poll gets to my reasoning. I'm done getting consoles at launch just to have consoles at launch. If Nintendo or a 3rd party releases a game I have to have, then I will buy it. The kind of games I'm into now are on PS3/360 or XBLA/PSN/Steam. The 3 games that are coming out this year (Xcom, Assassins Creed 3, Dishonored) have me about as excited as I can get for games. And I can get every single one of them on the consoles I already have. Without Assassins Creed being leaps and bounds better on Wii U, I just don't have a reason.
Of course I'll get one. With gaming hardware it is rarely a question of whether or not, just a matter of when. God knows there'll be good games.
If you want to know if someone is buying a Wii U there are like 50 threads/polls already asking the same question.
It took some time, and it was hard to notice, but if you take a look back at the Nintendo developed games that appeared on the Wii, you'll find some of Nintendo's best games of all time. If they can repeat that in a way that doesn't look all jaggy on my TV, I'll be happy. Preordered.
I might buy it when I have the money to do so. It looks interesting enough and it has a few games I wouldn't mind owning.
Nope I don't think anytime soon. I already have a Xbox 360 and recently this year bought a 80gb PS3 from a friend for $75 and at the moment I don't see any reason's to buy another system that is just going to deliver the same 3rd party games. Eventually I could see buying it for some really cool Mario / Nintendo games but at the moment I don't see anything worth spending $300 for. I'll probably do what i did with the gamecube and just buy it when its $99 and has a pack in and other favorites are $20.
Maybe. If the standard for nest-gen multiplatform gaming includes 720/PS4/WiiU, then I'll go with WiiU because I can still get all the games I want as well as getting Nintendo games. If multiplatform comes to mean 720/PS4 only, then no. I won't be getting a Wii U.
I picked C, but really I don't care about the price I'm just waiting until there's actually games that interest me (i.e. not ports of current gen games).
I'll get one, eventually, but only when there's a bigger library of games and a bit of a price drop.
It'll probably be the only next-gen console I own, unless Sony or Microsoft do something really special.
It's going to take a price drop and a significant amount of notable first party titles to get me to buy a Wii-U, but even then I'm not quite sure. Get back to me in 2 years.

Phbbblt! One Fire Emblem release stateside and you'll buy it.
...You're probably right.
Nintendo gets so much hate online. Mostly from pretendos who act like they are nintendo fans but would never buy anything from them. The controll is better then your dual shock and if you want a uber power machine why the hell are you gaming on consoles in the first place?
Fool me once Nintendo, shame on you, fool me the 4th time shame on me..... or something.
I don't hate Nintendo, nor do I think they suck but I have finally learned my lesson after buying the the N64, the Gamecube, and the Wii at launch and finding all of them disappointing (and progressively worse) I think i'm done being burned by Nintendo.
