I can 100% banjo-Kazooie in record time, but then is remembering where all the items are the same as being good at the game?
Are you good at games?
Depends on the game. If we're talking about competitive multiplayer, I can hold my own in stuff like Call of Duty and on a good day I can usually do more than alright on any given League of Legends match. Fighting games are a different story however, not only because they are the only games that make me fly into a frothing rage when I play them online against random people but also because that frothing rage is predicated usually by me doing poorly which creates a negative feedback loop and basically ensures that I will have trouble winning even against people who are clearly worse than me doing the same thing over and over again. Which is basically why I only play Fighting Games against people I know.
Depends. I'd say I'm above average at most games, but every so often something comes along where everything clicks and I'm very good at it. Occasionally certain games others find really easy to pick up I find maddeningly tough like GTAIV.
Definitely above average, but I'm only approaching high-level play in Super Meat Boy and Guitar Hero. I'm also below average in any shooter that isn't Halo.
EDIT: Also, complete garbage at strategy games, turn-based or real-time.
I'm general pretty awful. According to Blizzard I'm in the top 20% of North American SC2 players but that means nothing because I'm awful. I seem to be okay at Counterstrike but still nothing special. The only game I'm even remotely good at is Forza, which I play with no assists and manual w/ clutch and usually have top 5% lap times without cheating and looking at Leaderboards to find what car gets the best time for a certain track.
I play all my games on harder difficulties so I suppose that might be why I think I am so bad. Plus I never use guides or anything. I'm the type of person who would play Fez without ever looking at guides and figure it all out myself.
Depens on the game? I don't know I mean I can beat most games I set out to complete as far as competitive games go I'm ok at shooters and kinda suck at fighting games and don't know about RTS I've only played one (does Brutal Legend counts as other?) but I wouldn't know how good I am unless I measure myself against others and I don't do that often.
