So, it's been a big holiday season for triple-A titles like MW2 and Assassin's Creed 2, so it's easy to over look some of the smaller games with lower production values. Is there anything that you're interested in this holiday season that isn't part of the block-buster crowd?
For me personally, I want to play Way of the Samurai 3, because it looks so bad it could be good, and The Saboteur, because that game looks like goofy fun. And boobs.
B list games that you're into/want to play
" @Slippy said:" @DanielJW said:Have I done something wrong? "" @RiddleBrother said:Don't you even dare.. "" ... boobs. "My interest piqued. I don't know if you'd necessarily call it a B list game, but I'm very interested in Demon's Souls. "
It's as far from a B list game as it gets... so .. don't even dare to call it one! Or I will find you!

"You'll be disappointed about Way of the Samurai 3, then. It's good, and not in a "so bad it's good" way. It really is a great game.
"It's as far from a B list game as it gets... so .. don't even dare to call it one! Or I will find you! "Demon's souls is pretty close to being a B-list game. Maybe not quite, but it's definitely close. It has very very limited marketing and the production values aren't super high themselves. It's definitely not an AAA big budget blockbuster like Modern Warfare 2, with huge production costs and a massive marketing budget. That says nothing about the quality of the game, just the production values & marketing budget.
As for which B-listers I want to check out, I dunno. Would Tropico 3 be a B-list? I haven't really been following it. It definitely doesn't have a big marketing budget, and it's not from a big developer or publisher, so I'd assume the production values aren't huge either.
Been playing [Prototype] which I guess at this point is considered a B game.
Anyone still playing Demons Souls? I sort of expected many folks would give up on it by now. Especially with Dragon Age out.

" I kinda wanted to play those Japanese RPG's that were put out for Xbox. Infinite Undiscovered, Lost Odyssey. Which is weird because... I hate those games. "They're really awesome, I have all of them. I wouldn't put Lost Odyssey in with that bunch though, it's a much more polished and deeper game.
well if you want just low hyped games
Atelier Iris series is pretty fun
Mana Khemia (to bad, mana khemia 2 was the best RPG of 09)
Ar Tonelico
also, quality wise, this game is a triple A title but never got the hype it deserved, posibaly the best RPG ever made Shadow Hearts Covenant,

Then prepare for a completely generic ride thats all i can say about those games, in fact of the Xbox exclusive rpgs i've played, only two whern't completely generic, Star Ocean was actually really good, while Blue Dragon also broke the trend by being a terrible game.
