Deadly Premonition, it's so bad that it's practically good. I had way more fun with it than I expected, IGN's review was way off and took the game too seriously.
Bad / Poor games you kinda liked
Yeah i have to agree with this, the worst part about those games was that 3 was pretty great.. Co-op hack/slash em up against enemy hordes with tons of characters, unlockables, mounts etc.. Shallow but satisfying, but then they basically released the same game with minor upgrades about 5 times." All of the Dynasty Warriors games lol. "
I also feel the need to mention Borderlands here, because it wasn't a good game, it was just built on a fantastic mold.
Buck Bumble - I wanted to be an entomologist as a child.
Mystic Heroes - Kind of Dynasty Warriorsy. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't that great either. For some reason, I played quite a lot of it. Looking back, I don't know why I would play that game when I could have played a good hack and slash game like Diablo II. Maybe something about the setting appealed to me?
X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It lacks nice detalied enviroments. It lacks good sound design. It's filled to the brim - hell, two brims - with funny as hell gameplay. I seriously enjoy that game, because no matter how many times you pull the same attack Wolverine seems to do something different, every attack ends in me feeling stupidly powerfull and the whole thing controls really great. I love it.
All up unti final boss, wich is every aspect of how to not make a final boss in a game like that.
The Saboteur - thought the game was good but with all the glitches it had kinda made me regret buying at full price.
I remember playing through Luigi's Mansion and actually liking it, although that was a very long time ago.....
Koudelka was such a game. The narrative and overall story were sooo good. But weapons broke and the only way that you could get more was by fighting enemies. The battle system took place on a tiled area that you could move your characters on. It was not good. Oh and if you didn't pick up an item about halfway through the game you could never beat because you couldn't go back for it. But despite these many and varied things it was a great title.
Haunting Ground for the PS2 was really fun and a good horror game. The best run and hide type game (same as Clock Tower).
And Metal Gear Ac!d 2 for PSP was really fun and underrated.
" @Lumley said:I can third this sentiment. fusion frenzy + 4 players + alcohol = pure awesome"Fuzion Frenzy is one of the most fun games I have ever played - split screen with 4 people is absolutely hilarious. "I agree, with 4 people that is. Solo it's just meh. "
I would have to say Star Wars: Obi-Won. It was my first Xbox game, and I played the shit out of the crappy duel mode.
Luigi's mansion was actually a good game, even if not what i suspected. I'll have to go with Force Unleashed Wii version, I like it better than 360/PS3 for some reason, even if the graphics don't compare
Also, The Force Unleashed was a great game.
" I really enjoyed Psi-ops, on the PS2. I don't know if this was a game no one played, but it had some really great moments. "I hear about this game all the time. People are going back and playing it like mad recently :S
It's a freeware game now so there's no better time, but most people are coming back and saying they got it for PS2. DOuble :S :S
