Batman versus Uncharted

Well thanks to Amazon's screw up with Battlefield I now have $30 in credit to spend on a new game. The choice for me is either Batman or Uncharted. (I already pre-ordered Skyrim from Newegg and, like I've said on many occasions, I have no interest in the new COD). So I have and loved the previous games in each franchise. Uncharted was my GOTY that year but Batman was a close second for me. I will eventually have both in my collection but which ever I don't get will probably be a next year purchase. Any advice on which to get now?

@Sammo21: Myself and a bunch of other people didn't get our games on launch day. They received more pre-orders than they could handle so they ran out of Limited editions. Got mine today.

Uncharted 3 doesn't have any pre-order bullshit around it, so I'm going with that one.

honestly I think you should go with Uncharted due to the multiplayer component (competitive and cooperative)

I think Batman will take it even though I love me some Uncharted. My personal GoTY is going to be Gears 3 hands down though. I have a feeling Skyward Sword will be close.

If you're going to get both, it really doesn't matter that much however, everyone will switch to talking about Uncharted 3 when it drops, so if being a part of that conversation is important to you, then go for that one. Plus, Uncharted 3 has competitive multiplayer and who knows how long that audience will last? Best get in while there are lots of people playing it otherwise you'll be left encountering just the die-hards later.

Uncharted, the co-op horde mode thing just makes it a terribly easy choice. No replay value to the Batman game for me.

I'll tell you which is better in a week. No one can really say now.

i picked up arkham city and will wait on uncharted as the inevitable goty edition will release months later.

Batman would punch the shit out of Nathan Drake.

Clearly Uncharted.

Batman because..well..its Batman and Nathan Drake is just a guy with a gun.

As someone uninterested in the multiplayer, I picked up Batman day one but will probably wait for Uncharted 3 to drop to $30.

I'd pick Uncharted simply because it has more replayability and longevity. I'd wait for Batman to drop in price. I mean, it's a great game and all but you're only going to want to play through once or twice, while Uncharted has a pretty beefy multiplayer component and is fucking Uncharted.

Batman is awesome and I'm sure uncharted will be awesome. Unfortunately I can't read your mind and I don't know what you like more.

My Arkham City got corrupted the other day and I lost 20 hours of progress and 300 riddler trophies. I'd say Uncharted

Same here, didn't like the Uncharted multiplayer either.

Lol, I don't mind shooting on analog sticks. More "precise" on mouse I think, sucks for me since I grew up on analog sticks so my aim with mouse sucks. :D

I just like Batman, that's why I got it lol. Awesome storyline too, wish the movies followed them.

Look, all I'll say is that in Batman, you get attacked by a giant shark and you get a button prompt labeled "Beat Down".

I haven't played Uncharted 3 yet but the reviews are pretty good so far. Did you play Uncharted 2 or Arkham Asylum? Both games are like those only bigger and better so whichever one you preferred, go with that.

Since I've only played Batman Arkham City. I can only say its a hell of a good game.

having seen aliens vs predator, i can attest to the fact that this was true.

the real loser was me for paying to see film regardless of who won.
