I would go with Bad Company, because it's a great game, and I don't like racers much.

I understand, the games are just entirely different.

if you want a racer that lasts a long time and is continuing to expand, get burnout.

If you want a shooter with a short-but-sweet singleplayer portion and a fun multiplayer mode, get Bad Company.

BC is a good game but I always get lag in competitive multiplayer matches which is the only way to unlock guns.
I'd say burnout with all of it's new content.

I'd say Burnout, especially since BC2 is just around the bend. Get that one instead.

they were both games that i had rented multiple times and were both only $20.00.... i got burnout because that was voted around 40% more and i was thinking that nobody would play Bad company because the Battlefield 1943 is coming out in a couple of weeks. I will probably get  1943 and resubscribe to xbox live once that comes out.

Either is a good choice.

As a Battlefield fan though, I resent your choice! No matter, what game I play, I always return to Battlefield : Bad Companys 'Gold Rush' mode. Why play another game, when it's less intense, less visceral, less bombastic, less fun, than my all time favorite game?

Battlefield : Bad Company (multiplayer) is my gaming baseline. Very few games hold up to the beat. A none of them hold up for long.

Youtube Battlefield : Bad Company Gameplay Montage - Happy Fun Time (aka Power Drill Kills)

Youtube Battlefield : Bad Company Gameplay Montage - Kill Thrills

The width of strategy and tactics on the multi-tier gold rush maps. The depth of every kit (class), weapon and vehicle. The bang of destructibility and high quality surround sound. It all adds up to an incredibly satisfying multiplayer experience. Unrivaled at this time.

I own both games and can say they are both awesome. However I would definiatly pick Burnout Paridase. There is just so many things to do and a lot of dlc to keep you busy for a long time. It is one of my favorite games.

BOTH........and they both are the best EA games next to Dead Space of last year. Just get both, they are cheap. They are impossible to compare. I would probably pick Burnout Paradise because that is one of my favorite games of this generation but, seriously, not good comparisons going on here.

@leky1: He never compared them, he asked which he should get.  And I think his reasoning behind Burnout is warranted. Even if I think BF:BC is more fun.

Maybe you should pass over BF 1943 and wait for Bad Company 2 to come out?
