Best deal you've ever gotten on a game

I thought I'd start this topic because I came upon a glorious sight recently... a blockbuster going-out-of-business sale.  
 
At this sale I was able to get a bunch of DVDs for $2.99 each and some games for $4 a piece. These included "The World Ends With You" for DS (which I'm enjoying, though the combat seems less skill based and more "mashy" for lack of a better word) and Dark Sector for Xbox 360 (A not-great Gears of War clone but ok for $4 worth of fun). 
 
Anyhow, anyone have any good cheap game finds?

The Orange Box when it was full retail price and just released - that's a lot of game for $60 (5 games actually)

I got Dragon Age from best buy on black friday for $35 like 1-2 weeks after the game came out. I actually sold it for $45 cash yesterday. I didn't even need to get there before the store opened either.

i got mirror's edge for free because i said i liked playing it. having cousins in EA rocks.

I remember the day CoD 4 was released there was a deal at Circuit City that included a free copy of CoD 3 with the purchase of CoD 4. I got both CoD 4 and CoD 3 for $30. The cashier accidentally charged me for CoD 3 instead of 4. They were also offering free posters but they ran out, not like it mattered hah.

Orange Box and 3 DS games for $25. The World Ends With You, Phoenix Wright: T&T, and Pokemon Pearl.

Probably Beyond Good & Evil for like 4 dollars. Everyone should have this game if it is that price.

GTA IV for $9.99 on Black Friday. :D

I bought Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 for $5.   Not a bad price for some of the best games ever made.

A guy gave me a free copy of Half-Life 2 on steam.

A guy gave me Psyconauts for free on steam when it was cheap. 
 
I did sell Guitar Hero 2 (just the disk) for £55 (at the time it would have worked out to $110). Good old stupid second hand online shoppers.

I got Batman: Arkham Asylum for free because the clerk at GameStop didn't know what the heck they were doing.

Im too lazy to list half of my Steam games.

As much as people knock Gamestop, they have an AWESOME loophole.  You can return any game within a week, for ANY reason, so a few times I have played like 4 or 5 games off of 1 purchase.  I just trade it in for single player games I know I am going to blast through and be done with in a week, until I run out of them and put the $ towards an actual purchase.

Bought a ton of cheap games from steam at december and early januray for their sale, which are all good deals.

GRAW, brand new in every sense (Just came out, new in box) got it for 2.99, I really miss working at Best Buy sometimes : /

FFVII brand new black label for $5.00 a long time ago.

Orange Box for $30 near it's release.

Shadow of the Colussus for £5 about a year or two ago. That game is pretty damn epic!
 
That or Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics for £4.

My friend gave me a gift of Garrys Mod 10 for free on steam. 
 
I also picked up Bioshock for €10 and Oblivion for €8 in gamestop.

I just got Mass Effect 2 for $10 on amazon through a combination of deal of the day and some credits from other games I bought. I know its not a total straight up deal per say... but I still payed only $10 out of pocket for a brand new game.

I bought my 360 in 2008 and got Bioshock, The Orange Box, Forza 2, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for free.  That was one hell of a bundle.

sonic r and some pinball game for 2 bucks. SONIC R!!!!! SONIC RRRRRR!!!!!!!

I got Odama for 10 bucks at EB games. The next day (and for a long time after) it went back up to 50 bucks.
 
Not that odama is a great game or anything, but it WAS a good deal.

I bought SFIV on Amazon for 15 dollars and they sent me the collectors edition unopened, this was like 6 months ago too.

I got M&L: bowser's inside story for 30 bucks...then traded it in 3 months later for 32 bucks. I got paid 2 dollars to play that game. Beat that.

Either the THQ complete pack on Steam for $50 or getting Dead Space for free from a friend of mine.

Toys-R-Us had a but 2 get 1 free sale on all games a few months back, bought ODST and Wii Fit (for the wife) and got Brutal Legend free.

There was an Eidos pack on Steam a while back... The pack cost 50 bucks and included like 21 games the highlight being Batman: Arkham Asylum Which on Steam was 60 bucks anways.
 
So basically I got Batman: AA for 10 bucks off and 20 other free games with it.

The Orange Box for 360--$20 brand new. Of course I already had it on PC, but still, it was well worth the $20.

The most recent one I can remember was Psychonauts for $2 on Steam. Such a great game!

I got chu chu rocket for free on the dreamcast because the shop owner thought it wasnt worth anything. I beg to differ

Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec for £1.50 was probably my greatest bargain.

There's a deal on steam called the ultimate valve pack or something along those lines that gives you basically every valve game for $100...If not for the fact that I have basically everything in it except L4D2 I would have got it right away.
Also, any Blizzard Battlechest.

Psychonauts for £5 is probably the best one I've ever had. I got Red Faction Guerilla for £10 which was pretty cool.

Super Metroid used for $20 in 1994.

orange box for 15 dollars is probably the best deal i've ever gotten. 

A gamecube for £1.97 before the latest generation of consoles

I got an NES with a ton of games for $20 at a garage sale.

I can't count the amount of good deals since I've started using Steam

i managed to sell RE4 on the gamecube shortly before the Wii versus was announced, but sold it for more than i paid.

I got the 3 Jak games and the three first Ratchet and Clank games for 40 euros. Brand new also, so happy yet I still haven't played them. Don't know how I should feel about that.

Not sure, but I got Predator on Blu-ray for 3 bucks.
