I'm writing a blog about the best trailers for modern games. Meaning this generation in this case. I'm sorta writing about how great trailers have specific key elements which make them great. That doesn't really matter in this post. Please post what you think are some of the best examples of good videogame trailers. Don't worry about the game's final quality, that's not the point. If Rock Revolution had a badass trailer go for it. I'm just making sure I'm not missing any gems. Thankyou.
" @ThePhantomnaut said:Well I can see and play large scale Jedi combat in Jedi Knight multiplayer." @TheDuke said:It helps being a big fan of star wars. "" the old republic trailer was great "Everyone seem to shit bricks with that but I felt too dissatisfied with it. Looked very boring to me. "
There have been a few trailers I like more than others, the Mad World one for Gears of War and MW2 Cain and Abel for example. But there are two trailers that really have done it for me: the launch trailer for Mass Effect 2 as an easy winner and then the live action trailer for Halo 3: ODST.
But it's also reminded me of when I decided to see if I could sex up the bald tattoo'd girl after the main story had finished and having pulled the Australian, and I was successful, but now I fear that it will be documented in ME3. And for that my Shephard and I feel dirty and tarnished :'(
Just needed to get that off my chest
