I want to introduce a friend to Giant Bomb, and was wondering what video(s) you think I should show them. They've heard of the site before, and have a basic idea of how the site formed. I was leaning towards showing something recent and that has a large amount of the crew. Maybe the 2012 GOTY videos. Thanks for your opinions.

Best of GB Quick Looks on youtube is a good start or Euro Truck Sim QL

From what I remember, one of the first videos I saw from GB was either the Borderlands quick look or the Dragon Age one. I was immediately hooked afterwards.

I think the Animated Bombcasts would also be a good place to introduce someone to the crew's general vibe.

Please, don't show him the best things! He will be disappointed with everything else.

Start with How To Build a Bomb, so he knows what the hell is this website.

Then few first episodes of Persona 4 ER. Then let him explore more old stuff, except for live streams I guess.

The importance of this site is a fun forum community and that the staff has a HIGH potential for doing crazy stuff. The problem lately though is that they're not tapping into it much, if at all.

Does anyone remember the ILM video where Jeff was playing some generic Third Person Shooter and he got a really vile voice message? Reminded me of it when I watched the Call of Duty Vocoders vid (which I'd totally forgot about, good find).

I'd never seen this before. I think I finally understand the meaning of love.

I misread the title as Best Videos to SEDUCE People to Giant Bomb. . . Anyway, I suggest actually using non-official videos.

Those sorta show what kinda madness they might be getting into in regards to the staff, the website and most importantly, the community here.

@zoozilla has my back.

The Sleeping Dogs Halloween QL might be a pretty good introduction, as it's one of the best GB trainwrecks. The Best of Quick Looks videos are probably better though.

It depends on your friend. My girlfriend doesn't really care for game culture but she's a subscriber to giantbomb mainly to watch Vinny do stupid shit on the tricaster, watch Brad fail at playing games, and watch Scoops gettin' Spooked.

This is for me definately one of the best Giant Bomb interviews that they have ever done:

All of the above and much more.

I think most of the videos mentioned above are great. I would say any of the Sleeping Dogs quick looks are great because watching Vinny playing that game is so funny. Also once he is into, the Persona 4 endurance run is a must watch

I'm gonna necro this cos' I think its pretty useful.

I made this playlist for my friends (I know these clips would be to their taste it might not be to others though) to have clipped selections to introduce new people whilst also being a tribute to Ryan Davis letting beginners know how important he was to us (that was a messy sentence sorry).
