First you need to start by getting her a good gaming PC. Then she can play all the awesome PC games and the casual indie games.

lol, seriously though, if that's the way she likes to play it, let her. If she's having a greater feeling of accomplishment after beating a section how she has it in mind, just let her do it. Even if it's a pain to watch.

Or just get a second TV.
