So I just saw on G4 that the Blizz Con 08 beta key site is up and running. Anyone have confirmation on what the game is? Most likely it is Star Craft 2 but I just would like to know for sure.
Why is this such a big news item today?! This WoW Beta Key Site has been up for at least a month, when the new Battle.net launched, yet this "news item" has been posted on like 5 different sites today already... so weird.
I found-out about it while registering all my Blizzard CD-Keys on the new Battle.net, again, like a month ago.
I guess all the "important game people" just all of a sudden found-out about it today.
Weren't the Blizzcon '08 Beta keys for Lich King? I don't know why THAT site would still be around, though. It's on the WoW site, not the Blizzard site, so it probably isn't Starcraft.

I am not sure why it just popped up on G4 if you say its been live for a month. I don't really care how long its been live. All I want to know what the beta was for.
It's just for "general" BlizzCon 2008 Keys. When the time is right, Blizzard will email the BlizzCon people a StarCraft II Key (so it's kinda like a SC2 Key, in a way).
I see. So the Blizz con beta key thing was for all up coming betas not just for anyone game. So maybe the sites are making a big deal cause a Star Craft 2 beta is about to be released. Well if anyone gets a SC2 beta I am sure they will say something
