Bombardiers unite for KARA!!!

Hey Bombsters.

I watched this video which is essentially a tech demo released by Heavy Rain developers Quantic Dream and fell in love with the character, the premise and the overall look of what they could achieve were they to turn this into an actual project. So here I am pleading with you my fellow gamers and bombfans to join your voice with mine in signing a petition asking Quantic Dream to turn this sci-fi tease into the next epic masterpiece!

All petitioners hereby gain the right to an ending of their choosing. IF product does not satisfy the requirements of the petitioners then the developer is contractually obligated to keep producing endings until such time when a satisfying conclusion is reached.

Having watched the trailer I don't really see where the game would be in this. Also I would agree you probably should just watch Bicentennial Man or A.I.

You'd be the AI girl, running away from the shipping facility, escaping the company and then trying to find a new identity so you can lead your "life" without being hunted down etc

It's not a completely original concept but being a robot could offer some interesting options.

I heard that the Kara tech demo has been finished for about a year now. That means Quantic Dream is already a good way through the development of whatever game they've got in the works, and shit, if it ain't Kara, it ain't Kara, but I'm sure it'll be damn good regardless. Then again, The Casting Call from way back when eventually turned into Heavy Rain, so I guess we'll never know.

Also, don't bother them.

This isn't a game. What am I going to be playing? It's a nice tech demo and I hope they implement whatever they got out of this but I am not signing a petition until I know what the game part will be.

Well Kara can't be any worse than Heavy Rain, wow that game was the worst thing I played this generation. As a game that focuses on story, maybe Quantum Dream can hire some writers next time.

Still in the uncanny valley, but really impressive.

Do you think we could just get them to license the tech to someone that knows how to make a game instead?

I also dont see how they make this a game unless they just copy heavy rain's gamplay

No thanks. I just played through Xenosaga and don't want another movie about the exact same thing, really cool and visually impressive video though. The concept isn't particularly new but I could see some neat places they take the game...maybe later.
