So I've settled upon a date for a PC Left 4 Dead Bombing Run. Get your weapons ready, it's zombie-killing time!

Important Info

Game: Left 4 Dead (PC)
Date & Time: Saturday November 29 5:30PM PST
My Steam ID: Lunarbunny

Other Stuff

Please, please don't leave me in the cold this time. My first Bombing Run was Counter-Strike: Source, and I ended up with 3 other people out of a total of 11 who had said they were definitely coming. Keep in mind:
  • Are you going to still be out of your house for Thanksgiving vacation?
  • Do you have any other plans already?

However 3 others showing up this time won't be quite as disastrous considering it's Left 4 Dead. I am however hoping to play Versus, which means I need at least 7 others showing up. If more than 7 want to register for the bombing run, I can break people up into subgroups that will find their own games. You may not be playing with me, but you will be with fellow GiantBombers.

Perhaps we could get Banzaiaap to hand one of us admin priveliges to the Giant Bomb steam group so that we can add actual events for these things?

Alright, it is nearly time for the bombing run. Please be advised that there may be a slight delay, I'm currently setting up a dedi that should be done relatively soon. I'd host from my home server but more than 6 people = major bandwidth choke.

Bombing run completed, was fun for everybody who came! TheBeast was on the other side the whole time though, he didn't do so well. I only got pissed at my team once, which means we're doing pretty well (Seriously, they let a smoker kill me in the open from 50 health). The server was sadly a bit laggy, but I had ordered a Chicago server from Gameservers.com, and then found out their Chicago facility kept getting DDoSed (1000+ pings every 3 minutes for 30 seconds or so). So I tried to switch to Dallas, but it still hasn't been switched.

We were doing just fine! Apart from frequently being mobbed and ripped to shreds. But that was meant to happen.

Great fun though, thanks to all that were there - looking forward to the next one!

Hahaha i remember that, it was a complete accident. Boomer got the horde on me and everyone else was either incapacitated or surrounded by infected. I shed a tear when you died though, i said to myself "There goes my hero....watch him as he goes!"....

But yeah our team did rather well and i believe, or so i'm told, everyone had fun last night so awesome. Congratulations to everyone who turned up and stayed to play, we had a great evening :)!
