Bombing Run 1/27 - General Discussion

GAME RESCHEDULED TO JANUARY 24TH. CONTACT ME ABOUT ANY CONFLICTS.

I hereby proclaim the next Bombing Run to be the Microsoft flagship game, Halo 3. You guys know the drill. Once you've replied I'll pencil you into one of our games. I'm going for a Big Team Battle if possible, but otherwise we'll just do a Giant Bomb Slayer game. The games will begin at 7:00 PM EST. Remember to post your gamertag or send a friend request to Easy Boss on XBLive. Without further ado:

I'd say that's totally do-able as long as we have that extra space (which I expect), but I would think that if we're full you'd have to talk to someone about them possibly giving up their slot. ;)

Sorry, I've already changed the date and it seems that Bombing Runs are traditionally held at 7 PM EST.

Also, game roster updated.

Glad that the date has just been changed...I didn't realize the original date was a Tuesday. Also, Hendersonman's GT = Hendersonman

it was 24 24 on snowbound and you got the drop on me with the AR but you made a fatal noob mistake of wasting all your bullets and hearing the fatal reload click you got a carbine appplied to the face

Do you have any idea what I had to do to resurrect this thread? Page seven, people!

Anyway, bumping to try and get some more folks involved as the run is now just two days away. I will be sending friend invites out on the day of the run, so please post here or add me on XBL before then.

I looked in my history, but either I don't know how to work it properly or it was too far back. I believe we have enough people to play Team Slayer, if not Big Team Battle... But I'm sure we'll all squabble over (and eventually decide) what game type to play come Saturday.

Yes, this is tomorrow. I haven't given too much thought to the balancing as this is a friendly game. However, I imagine we'll do some kind of "change up teams" every match deal.

Also, roster is updated.

Also if you log on to the irc it will be a lot easier to manage

Hence the switching up of teams every match, so that the same two teams never fight each other twice. Honestly, I'm not too concerned about this. Those of us who participated in the recent 360 L4D Bombing Run had loads of fun, even though the Versus matches sometimes seemed a little one-sided... To all of those who participated and remember the many moments of hilarity:
