Perfectly captured Brad morphing into the monster, Tintin.
Brad/Vinny Demons Souls fan art
Holy shit, that's amazing.
Really truly amazing.
LIKE AMAZING, AMAZING.
You captured the exact spirit of the relationship, summed up pretty much the whole she-bang in one frame.
Great job @humanity, I dig your style.
"I dig your style too, man! Got the whole cowboy thing goin'."
This is great work! Is there more brad and vinny demon souls fanart out there, I feel like this is the first one I've seen.
I have an idea for another one I would want to do now that Dark Souls 2 is out and I've played it so I can draw inspiration from first hand experiences. Other than that I dunno but there are a lot of people who do really amazing things in the Giant Bomb community. Maybe go on Tumblr and search for "Vinny Dark Souls" ?

Is this a candid photo from a gay pride parade, or does Ian McKellen always dress that awesomely? Even assuming the former, the hats are still confusing me.
@singingmenstrual: I'm ashamed that I had to look up that quote... umm ahhh.... MARK IT ZERO!

Thanks for the heads up guys. Yeah I've seen the giantbomb community make some great giantbomb fanart, hope to see some more.
@humanity: I love how you and I made pictures that are very similar in what they are trying to show.... Brad's insane obsession, ghost vinny, and a suicidal lizard. but I do think you did a better job. I cannot get over how good this is, your shading is buttery smooth, the details you drop in are great, and your ghost vinny is awesome. Because we had the same vision, it is clear to me exactly how much better you are. And look, I am not trying to be down on myself, I am proud of what I did, it took a lot of effort. Directly comparing the two images and thinking back on what I had to do to get to the final image, its very illuminating and I am just super impressed.
@super2j: Hey man thanks a lot for all the kind words. I find it amazing how similar our ideas were! All of it is just time and practice really. I also look at other peoples work and often incorporate certain elements of different styles into my own drawings. When I was growing up I always wanted to draw comics like Spiderman or X-Men. As I grew older I guess I just wasn't good enough - I can draw "serious" stuff if I put my mind to it but it takes considerably more effort than when I draw "cartoons." So in a way it's also finding out who you are as an artist too. If you're a young dood, and you want to draw then I encourage you to not waste time and pursue that with all your heart. I regretfully wasted a lot of my time not practicing, not getting an education that would help evolve my technique and generally being stubborn about way too many things - like refusing to ever use reference images because I assumed it was somehow "cheating" or something.
So keep on trucking dood, I like your lizard a lot and I'm sure if you keep practicing your style will evolve naturally. The biggest struggle is always trying to get the thing in your head onto a piece of paper, or these days a computer screen. If you keep at it then that gap will close a little every day.
@bisonhero: wearing the hats during a rehearsal for some play. And yeah he always dresses awesome.:)
