I am very tight on cash and i can only get a 20 dollar game any good one and long ones are also a plus I am a fan of all kinds of games
Can anyone name any good 360 games for under 20 bucks
Mass Effect, Burnout Paradise, and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts are the first games that come to mind.
You're probably going to have to get them used, I think the Platinum Hits are $30 for the 360. Either of the Saints Row games are pretty fun and last a while, Mass Effect is pretty great if you're into a story based game and you haven't played it, Burnout Paradise is good too... I could probably go on.
" @OldGuy: I found Too human for 10 on amazon but not sure if I should buy it "I'd take a pass on Too Human. It did some things really well but it felt unbalanced in many places and got so frustrating in parts.
Without know what you have or haven't played, Orange Box is a good bet as it's 4 games in 1 (altho I can't say if people are still playing Team Fortress 2). If you're also looking for a longer game, look at Mass Effect.
For long ass games I recommend Saints Row 2, Mass Effect, Burnout Paradise, and Banjo Kazooie.
Saints Row 2 I have around 80 hours played because I think it is just awesome.
Burnout Paradise I have over 100 hours played because I had to restart my save file to get 100% smashes (weird rare glitch, but two 50 hour plus save games yes)
Oblivion is another game I have gotten to about triple digit hours in. And Fallout 3 (standard pack) was on sale on black friday for 20 at best buy, so that might happen again.
Not mentioned yet:
- Condemned 2: Bloodshot $10
- Crackdown $10
- Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (not great, but worth $8)
- Rainbow Six Vegas 2 $20
- Bully: Scholarship Edition $20
- Viva Piñata $20
- The Darkness $20
" Best Buy, this week: $15 Dead Space $20Fight Night: Round 4Saints Row 2 How old do you want to go? All these are $20: Assassin's Creed Mass Effect Saints Row Bioshock Dead Rising The Orange Box Lego Games (pick one, any one - well other than the new one) "Any of these.
Burnout Paradise! Oh its awesome and cheap!
Others that come to mind: Mass Effect, Far Cry 2, Tomb Raider: Underworld (pretty decent, especially for under $20), Maybe Lost Odyssey is down to that price? and as someone else has said, Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts.
Really would suggest checking out burnout paradise if you have not yet. Its an awesome game.
The Orange Box. It is the best video game deal you will ever get. For the $20 that it is, it 's a steal.
Also, I just bought Dead Space for $10 at Target on Clearance. It's a lot of fun so far, so maybe you'll want to check that out.
EDIT: Oh! And I forgot Bioshock! One of my personal favorite games of all time.
Taking a browse through Gamestop's site:
Crackdown: $12.99 (used)
The Orange Box: 19.99 (New)
Bioshock: 19.99 (New)
and when I went by the Gamestop over the weekend, I also saw a used copy of Fallout 3 for 19.99.
- Ninja Gaiden 2.
- Crackdown.
- Battlefield: Bad Company is a hefty game for only $20.
- If you like Dynasty Warriors games, some of them go for $20. Considering the way the games are built, they supply a lot of gameplay.
- Prince of Persia (2008).
- Find some original Xbox games and buy Unreal Championship, the one with the melee in it. Liandri Conflict?
I'm gonna agree with the Orange Box suggestion that a lot of people are bringing up. Mass Effect, as well.
Then you'll want to go the RPG route, or buy Orange Box. If you haven't done that yet, do so because if you die now, you're soul will be casted to the pits of hell were you listen to "Still Alive" and have no context to what the fuck is going on. Then you got Mass Effect, Fable 2, and so on. Or just get a Gamefly subscription. They're like $10 a month and you can play whatever." @EpicSteve: something long that will last me till biosock 2 "
