Mass Effect is a good choice or Lost Odyssey.

dead rising is immense can keep you playing for hours pick it up :)

Get over your fear of Bioshock, its not that scary and the game is fucking amazing. Try Burnout: Paradise as well. Also, dude, Crackdown.
