I just find it funny that people are so passionate either way. Seriously, if they do another ER, sweet! If not, lame! But either way WANTING one is really no skin off anyone's back, right? Unless, people start inundating the squad with PM's and emails, which would be entering crazed stalker fan territory.
Look... everyone wants another endurance run but the giantbomb crew have been clear that they will do it on their own time with their own choice of game so recommendations are futile and make things worse. Drop it for the sake of another endurance run.
It's kind of funny how everyone is assuming that this is some kind of message to Giant Bomb, like " WE WANT AN ENDURANCE RUN " by me. If I wanted them to do another Endurance Run I would have posted some text about it not a poll? Come on, there's no need for "Fuck off" and such. Just vote? Would it be cool? Yes. Would I want it to happen at the cost of other great site content? No. Has it been said a thousand times nothing like this will ever happen? Yes.

And on topic, I wouldn't want to see a Catherine ER, or even another Persona ER. Part of the reason that I have struggled in the past watching the Endurance Runs is that I don't like the game type. I'd like to see them branch out a little more in the next one.

I kind of agree. With Persona I really wanted to play it but didn't really had the time. DP although was pretty bad.
While it'd be cool to have more regular videos to watch, ER in the past seem to have been on the verge of being a soul crushing experience for everyone involved. So I won't hold my breath.
Also It seemed pretty much like the Persona ER only happened because Jeff and Vinny weren't going to be able to play it otherwise. As in by themselves. Jeff seems pretty determined to play Catherine either way.

I agree. And I think that if it happens again it needs to be just as it was with Persona - they wanting to play the game really bad. But I mean - the site has grown, they'll probably go to more events then ever before and sinking 100 hours into a game is a lot of time. And I think that the community have spoken - No if this pushes other content back. I kind of agree there. But let's be honest, there are a lot of content on this site and I don't think that I ever would criticise them for not putting more up. I'm very neutral in this. It would be awesome if it happened. Catherine is like Persona 4 a game I'd love to play but don't have time to. At the same time, it would be pretty sad to see them only doing this because of spam. And no, I don't see this as spam...

I know. That's what I said. I don't want to see another ER revolving around a Persona or Persona Team-developed game. It simply wouldn't live up to the first. They should go with something unexpected and totally left field.
They won't do an ER of the Japanese version because that would be foolish. The English version won't be out until fall at least. They do ERs in the spring because with teh 4Q release stacking they are basically swamped from E3 until the end of the year. So it wouldn't be for a year from now. Anyway I'm sure Jeff is going to start a Hyperdimension Neptunia ER anyway.
They mentioned something about it on the bombcast and its a "20hour" long "game" but yea. If it happens it happends. I don't want this to be the Endurance run because I actually want to play the game myself.
Based on the negativity in this thread, I'd expect there to be a huge amount of votes for no. But at the time of writing, the community majority that have voted on this poll have said yes. What else is Giant bomb other than a website to serve it's community?

While it would be cool to see another enduro run, I think I would rather play through Catherine myself. Plus they probably won't do either a Catherine, or Persona 5 Endurance run, simply because they already did an atlas game. I think Jeff said it best when he said, "We are not in the business to ruin Atlas games"
As much as I love the Endurance Run it is up to them to choose if they still want to do one. If we keep pushing them then they will just get fed up with the ieda and never do one one again.

Personally I'd like to see if not only for the fact that I won't have time to play it myself for any long periods of time. With that being said, I don't think they boys want to do it and it'll probably not happen. It makes sense not to do a bunch of games from the same developer, it wouldn't be fair -- even though Atlus is a major exporter of "it's so weird it's awesome."
Whatever they choose to do next I'm sure I'll be just as happy.
Wait, isn't the game only in Japanese?(text and voice) So some people would have no problem watching and ER of a game they don't understand a word off? Sometimes this community confuses the hell out of me, unless of course it's the few of us who understands Japanese that voted "Yes" but I doubt it
1 "yes" category and 3 "no" categories makes for a terrible poll. It looks like "yes" is winning, but combine the "no" categories and you get a 50-50 split. I'd love to see them do it, but I've come to accept that they're not too stoked on doing it.

No, it doesn't. I think a lot of people tend to forget that Giant Bomb is actually a business. As a business, the staff at Giant Bomb would have more incentive to create something that would appeal to their audience, and threads like these only point out how popular the endurance run is two years after it was first introduced.
Another endurance run will happen, eventually. It probably won't be Catherine. It might not even be Persona 5, but it will happen. That's what the Giant Bomb community wants and the staff is absolutely aware of that.

Again, this is not a thread about me wanting an Endurance Run so stop being foolish and tell everyone to shut the fuck up. Please. I asked if people would be interested in seeing an Endurance Run of this game. Just answer it and tell us why you'd want/don't want it.
