Cheapest Video Game Purchase?

My friend gave me his copy of Kingdom Hearts 2 for free because he didn't like it. So that was pretty good.

i got Diablo 1 + 2 for $7 at a gas station thrift store in West Virginia.

alien trilogy on ps1 for like 8 bucks..

Bought Half-Life 1 for $0.01, it was during the 10 year anniversary of the game.

Somebody got me Lumines when it was on sale for £1 but I'm not really sure of the cheapest game I've got myself. It was probably either Spore Creature Creator which was only about £3-5 or Team Fortress 2 when it was on sale for £5.

Could've only paid 1 cent, but I would've felt bad for the rest of my life. Considering I really didn't like World of Goo's gameplay that much, $1 was probably a good price for me.

Deus Ex for $0.98 from ebay with free shipping.

Mirrors Edge for £3 
Oh and loco roco 2 for the low low price of £1

Only thing that comes to my head is Torchlight for 5 bucks.

I think this thread will be a fail because of the Steam sales that everyone takes advantage of.  
 
So on top of that, I would say Alien Swarm.

I got the Orange Box for $5. Awesome deal if I must say so myself.

Alan Wake buy 2 used get one free deal.

I got Deathrow for Xbox for $3.  Such a great game that no one knows about.

I got King Kong for £3.99 at GameStation.
It was used, but I didn't care. It's actually one of the few good movie based titles.

There have been so many steam sales in the past year that I'm not even sure. But as far as console stuff goes I think I bought DKC for SNES from my friend for like 50 cents.

Best deal: I ordered GTA IV on the interweb but it was delayed. I couldn't wait for it so i bought another copy in store, then when my ordered copy arrived i sold on on ebay for 10$ more than i bought it for. Ka-ching!

for 20 bucks was super happy at the time lols

Burnout: Dominator for $9.99, brand new. It was incorrectly labelled, but since my sister worked at the store they let me buy it for that anyways.
 
Unfortunately, it wasn't anywhere as good as it's predecessor, Burnout: Revenge, but still, I had some fun times with it.

I got Super Dragon Ball Z for $3.99.

There was a charity-type sale for Mac games awhile back so I managed to pick up World of Goo, Aquaria, Machinarium, Gish, and Penumbra Overture for $5 The first three of those are worth ten times that to me, I love those games. If you haven't played Aquaria especially it's such an overlooked gem of a game.

 Quake 3 for £1.50. Still haven't seen if it still runs yet on windows 7 though.

Aggressive Inline (GCN) for $1.99. I don't understand why I enjoy this game so much, but I always lose an hour or so when I give it a go.

I got Torchlight for 5 bucks during a steam sale.  Pretty good game.  It runs well on my MBP too.

I don't remember exactly, maybe Hitman 1 on a jewel case for 10 bucks. 
 
At one point in my life I saw a copy of the E.T. 2600 game in a used game bin at an EB, for $4. To this day I regret not buying it and having a great conversation piece for the rest of my life.

Psychonauts for $2.00 on steam.

Borderlands and Portal for free. Alpha Prime for $2.50. 

10 bucks for Forza 2 + Halo 3 + Viva Pinata.

Snatcher for 3 pounds at my local game shop. Came with a copy of Micro Machines V3.

Pretty impressive considering it sells on EBay for over one hundred.

I got Max Payne once for something like $2 at a GameStop once. 

Fifa07 cost me 2.53 dollars (18SEK). But what a shitty game it was.

Max Payne 2 on the Xbox for $0.99. 
 
While no more come to mind, I have to say, The Orange Box for $20.00 was both the cheapest and greatest deal I've ever gotten.

I got Psychonauts for £2 in a Steam Sale. 
 
I've also bought plenty of £3.99 games on Steam and $5.99 games on GOG.

Team Fortress 2 for around $8( some sort of promotion)- best purchase i ever made :)

there's also a few excellent free games out there like League of Legends, Alien Swarm and.... well i guess TrackMania is pretty cool.

A Sega Master System and about 12 games for 2 bucks at a garage sale.
