Coming Soon

What happened to the "coming soon" box on the right side of the main page for giantbomb.com? It showed upcoming videos and the date and time for release. Did they permanently remove this feature? I personally loved this feature and miss it.

They don't have anything coming up at the moment so it doesn't appear.

It'll be back, the staff has probably been too busy to add anything to it.

But they always projected out one week and sometimes up to two weeks out. So for the next week they are doing nothing on the site (no Quick Looks, no Premium Videos, etc.....).

I don't see why they would've suddenly removed it. Like mentioned, it's probably because they've been busy at PAX and need a few days to sort stuff out. "Worst" case scenario...you could just check the site daily to see if there's anything new?

@demonsoul: It's quite easy: When there's nothing in the "Coming soon" box, it's not displayed. More often than not they tend to put Professional Fridays in there at the beginning of the week for it to stay there the whole week. They haven't done that this week, but I'm sure it'll go up there today or something.

When it comes to QLs they tend to only put them in the box after they've filmed it, and it's for the next day. Very rarely will you see a QL put in the box more than a day in advance, the exception is when there's embargos in place.

So no, they haven't removed the box. It'll come back when they put something in there, probably today. It's not even the first time this month that it has been "removed" like this. It's also false that they "always" display what they're doing one week or two weeks in advance. They put things in there at pretty random times, more often than not just for the next day.

In other words, no need to panic.
