Just saw this was in m local rental place and I was surprised because I didn't think it was this far along. 
Far Cry The Movie by Uwe Boll  

  I like how the DVD box say's by the notorious Uwe Boll.

Also, looks like it was cheaper to go back to the House of the Dead island then some tropical location. 
Hopefully I'm not the only one who missed that this was out.

Me and my friend watched this together, it provided many laughs.

A freind of mine has seen it and he said it was tolerable for a game movie...but this is from someone who likes The Punisher films.

whoa, this came out?! I heard about it a few years ago and then heard NOTHING about it... It might be his worst yet if no one is even talking about how terrible it is.
 
edit: and good call on him using the same exact island... and I think the same exact boat for House of the Dead. astounding.

Actually this has already came out on video....I've punched it up online and I've watched it, but it was shitty as hell.  Another bullshit fuck fest that looks like a buffalo took a heaping dump all over the film.

...Why does it sound like they're using The Dark Knight music in the very beginning? Not even a soundalike, straight up TDK soundtrack.

I heard about this but I didn't actually think they made it. It's not like I'm going to watch it though. Never will.

Are those cheesy sound effects in the actual movie or just the trailer?

This has been at our video store for ages now, and I keep suggesting it to my lass as one of my picks when we're renting. But then something I suspect is more watchable floats into view, and I go with that instead.
 
EDIT: It should be noted my girlfriend has the patience of several saints superglued together - the few times I've mentioned this film and why I want to rent it, she's been willing to go along with the stupidity. I think she and I both know she'd get 15 minutes in and want to peel her purty face off, though.

Hehe funny Till Schweiger is actually a decent actor. Also please tell me that standard cheesy action music isn't actually in the film?

Yeah, some distributor decided to actually release it in America now.  *ugh*

More tang material is good. Bring it on!

Finally.  An Uwe Boll movie so horrible it couldn't find its way into U.S. theaters!

About 2 weeks ago there was a massive marketing drive for this film in the London papers. Then the reviews came out.....

why is uwe so good at making his movies so painfully difficult to bare?!?! seriously, i want to like what i see but damnit the acting is atrocious!

Looks like it could be one of Boll's passable (meaning not completely gut-wrenching) flicks.  I'll check it out if it ever shows up stateside on Netflix.

How did they manage to rope Don S. Davis into this? I loved him in Stargate, and now that he's gone I won't let the last thing I watch him in be an Uwe Boll movie...

I didn't even know this existed. I mean I heard it was supposed to get made but never heard anything further. I am sure its complete Shit.

I used to love Boll movies for their awfulness. Then after BloodRayne he seemed to transcend from hillarious badness to just mind numbing badness and his movies lost whatever campy charm they had.
 
This movie looks like the culmination of this trend, decent actors looking sad and bored while spouting garbage, TV quality sets and shots, rip-off of new Batman theme, etc etc. Looks like a competent Sci-FI Channel flick and nothing more. None of that crappy Boll charm is left.

Yeah I knew about this for a while, and I remember hearing about this in 2007. The screwattack people are in it.

One of my old friends bought a French language version of it when he was in Morocco and even without being able to hear the acting, it looked pretty bad.

I watched this once. Thankfully I don't remember much of it. Its ability to be blandly forgettable is probably the best thing about it.
