Duck Hunt, a classic on the NES that sold very well, yet no games followed. The game has become infamous and everybody wants to shoot that darn dog. Say if Nintendo gave it Wii graphics and put  on the Wii for a full retail price, could they do that, is there enough content on Duck Hunt? How much more could you add without making it not Duck Hunt anymore?

Duck Hunt is a perfect Wiiware title, short and sweet and cheap.

Probably if you do it Wii Play style and pack in a Wiimote.

And you could shoot the dog in the arcade version:

Depends on the quality and depth of the game. There are a lot of hunting games for the Wii.

so you're a hunter who, after being lost in the woods for a couple days, ate some psychadelic mushrooms?

Vinny Carabela's Duck Hunt. Only you don't pronounce "Hunt" how you think it's pronounced.

Yeaaaaah, but there is a little more to Punch-Out than Duck Hunt. This one is more of a stretch.

Still... I honestly wonder what they'd do about it. They'd probably never release it though since they're all "family friendly" now and don't want animal rights groups bitching them out.

Which I guess is pretty much why we won't see it on Wiiware.

What they would need to do is combine a Duck Hunt/Hogan's Alley pack that way people would have more than one game as a reason to maybe get the Wii zapper or whatever it's called.

Unfortunately the original light gun for NES doesn't work well with HD TVs :(

There is not enough content to warrant a full disk at 49.99. Maybe 29.99 if they include a shell for your Wii remote.

while sure they should. i think it would cool for them to do that. they could throw in like a mario game in it also. doesn't anyone remember the double cartridge of mario brothers and duck hunt. good times playing those two games on NES.

du-ck hunt.
It's already there.

Also they could probably release something like "NES PARTY GAME PACK" with a newer Duck Hunt, and a bunch of other NES themed mini-games.

I think people would buy a 3D version of Duck Hunt, but that likely won't be sold until there are more 3D TVs in circulation and the Wii2 (with 3D support) out on shelves.
