Declaring your preference

I don't understand why people declare there preference when they join the site as being a Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, or PC person and then rag on others for showing even the tiniest bit of preferential treatment to a console. I've seen so many people with a green username call other people idiots for talking up the PS3 or vice versa.


Do people not understand the whole 'set your bias' thing?

ya, the whole point of choosing your preference is so people know where your coming from. They should just keep quiet about it because people can have an opinion

Neutrality is for the weak.  PC Massive represent!

Unfortunately there seem to be a number of people around that insist on forcing their opinions on others and can't accept other peoples opinions. I wish we could just all get along :( .
