What up dudes! Its been a little bit - so here's a quick post to let you guys know what we've been up to the past few days:
Maxwell:
Maxwell has been the man! Heading up almost all of the front-end work on our new sister site AnimeVice. Maxwell did an awesome job styling up the site and really ran w/ the ball when we asked him to handle everything from doing intro videos to, to the favicon, to uploading images and running data. Awesome guy -- and he did a great job!
Andy:
When Andy hasn't been busy helping us w/ our problems, or setting up the AnimeVice servers, he's been diligently working on our new API. This api can be used by anybody and will allow other developers to use our data make whatever kinda apps they want..... i personally would love to see someone build some slick timeline tool using our franchises. Anyway, the api should be launching shortly -- and we'll definitely give you dudes a heads up before it goes live.
So we just picked up this new kid Drew, who has been kicking ass on everything from helping us get your shirts mailed to you guys to filming, producing and crunching all of the videos you've been seeing on ComicVine and AnimeVice. The dude's been learning super fast on Vinny's tutelage and definitely deserves some props!
Dave:
Dave and I have been working on the new 2008 Year End Feature code/design for the sites. After he wrapped all that up, he started styling the API docs as well has writing his own Top 10 list for the 2008 Game of the Year Feature.
Ethan:
Ethan has been THE MAN the past few months -- toiling away tirelessly on AnimeVice. He's been working day and night on this sucker and finally launched it late last night... For those of you who are already on it -- we're stoked you made it over, for those of you who haven't checked it out yet, and love anime, or just love looking at pictures of hot chicks, check it out.
