I was under the impression it started 20 minutes ago but its just the preroll red carpet crap, i dont want to start watching this at 4am local time so il read up on it tomorrow.

@mrfluke: Thanks for that. Does not give the full list of catagories or anything. So gonna have to tune in. I hope Journey sweeps it. Rather that over Halo 4 or Borderlands 2 taking it.

I'll be watching while I do homework. This is actually the first DICE award show I've seen.

I wonder what their definition of "casual" is. Journey is nominated in that category. Glad that Sleeping Dogs got a nom even though it has zero chance of winning. Slightly upsetting that Dead or Alive 5 or Skullgirls is not nominated for fighting game. I bet most game developers are not big into fighting games so, not much weight i'm giving to that. As elitist that sounds. It is a shame that Skullgirls is not nominated for animation. It is FAR better animation than AC3 that is for sure. GOTY is kinda the obvious picks. The two big indie games and 3 massive budget games.

Turned that into a bit of a rant but those are my quick thoughts.

Never seen one of these before. Heard it's a proper awards show, so I'm excited!

this show doesnt seem very well put together. Feels very rushed and the sound guy is late on all his cues

I get why Lee won compared to Vaas, the actor of Lee had to record so much dialogue with a lot of different tones and showed alot of different emotions compared to what the character picked, and had some scenes that expressed genuine emotion.

i do quite like these mini documentary stuff. it was the stuff that G4 used to be good at.
