...I dont know about you, but I love to follow up my achievement stats in this lovely website ... Just wanna see dem' A and S ranks ... What about you, do you care??

#2 Posted by weegieanawrench (1918 posts) -

Yep, when it's a slow day, I often like to compare my achievements to the rest of Giant Bomb as well as drool over my A and S ranks. I also like to know how many of my achievements are still rare.

#3 Posted by Jack268 (3387 posts) -

I take a look occasionally when I'm bored. Mostly look at rarity since I don't have that many.

#4 Posted by Yanngc33 (4496 posts) -

yeah that Hot Pursuit S rank is my pride and joy :p

#5 Posted by CitizenKane (10501 posts) -

I use to a lot when they were first introduced on the site, but I rarely check them anymore.

#6 Posted by JoshyLee (169 posts) -

Maybe if I had some to be proud of...

#7 Posted by ZeForgotten (10397 posts) -

Nope, heck I'm surprised that the "S-rank" thingy even popped up on Giantbomb when I visited this site but I didn't hop in to see what games I actually have them in.
Though it's probably the games where you just get Achievements for doing the obvious like "OMG! You moved with the left stick!" and then "OMG You looked around with the Right Stick"

#8 Posted by crusader8463 (14313 posts) -

No. I couldn't care less about them in any game.

#9 Posted by melcene (3056 posts) -

Rarely.  Also, you forgot WoW.  WoW is the other "platform" you can add for achievement purposes.

#10 Posted by buft (3298 posts) -

only if i'm waiting for an S rank to come through, other than that I'm fairly passive about the whole thing.

#11 Posted by fitzoperfecto (22 posts) -

I check to see what games I should pick up and play next (B's and lower) if I'm bored or trying to not spend money.  Though I will admit, I do like seeing an S.

Constantly. I love me some Achievements.

#14 Posted by xMP44x (2189 posts) -

I never really paid attention to them on the site. I'm happy by unlocking them. Knowing how rare they are doesn't really add anything for me but occasionally I do check and see. It's a shame modders have to exist though... damn you cheaters, devaluing my few properly rare achievements. :P

#15 Posted by E_rock (153 posts) -

Every time I'm on Giantbomb I'll eventually migrate over to the achievements page to check out the rarity of my new achievements.  A lot of times I'll just check it to see what updated and what didn't.

#16 Posted by Malakhii (1443 posts) -

No I don't really check them, but it's cool to have them there.

#17 Posted by MattBosten (496 posts) -

Primarily check when I know I've got an S-Rank coming in. Was a particularly proud day when this one came through...

#18 Posted by Daveyo520 (6597 posts) -

Sometimes but for some reason it has always thought my favorite genre is MMO even though I only have 19 achievements in WoW. I have way more achievements in FPSs but it says MMO for some reason.

#19 Posted by supermike6 (3523 posts) -

I used to, but I don't really get that many achievements anymore.

NEVER! and thats the honest truth.

I know, I couldn't fit it in the topic title, lol!!!
#22 Posted by BibleDoctor (698 posts) -

No, sometimes when I wander over there it's interesting to look at. But that happens very rarely.

#23 Posted by iam3green (14388 posts) -

no, i don't look at them  really.

Your right,..... I think they should restructure the xbox achievement system, make it look more like GiantBomb, ..... compare against  everybody, that would be cool!!

I check them even when I haven't played anything since the last time I checked

I feel the same way about my 1 vs 100 S-rank.  HIGH FIVE FOR EXTINCT S-RANKS!!!

Also, yes, I check my stuff pretty regularly.  About to break 70K.  Super psyched about it.  It's been a long road, ya know.

How long does it generally take for the achievements on here to update and sync with XBL?  My achievement page hasn't changed since I first added my gamertag but I've unlocked quite a few since then.

They should pop up pretty soon after, for instance I unlocked an achievement in Red Faction last night and it was updated on the same night pretty soon after I unlocked it.

I'm assuming yours is glitched like many other people or you have changed your XBL settings so that your profile is private rather than the required public setting for the cheevos to pop up here
#29 Posted by blueaniman93 (604 posts) -

I haven't looked at them since I've put them in.

#30 Posted by njean777 (45 posts) -

Nope I play mostly on ps3, so no point for me :(

#31 Posted by WatanabeKazuma (989 posts) -

I prefer to look at what my friends have so that I can see what/how they've been playing.

#32 Posted by MaFoLu (1854 posts) -

Not really, I've checked once or twice, but I don't do it regularly.

Giant Bomb's achievement tracking has made me want to get more achievements, even though I don't check them very often, I wonder why that is...

#33 Posted by Seedofpower (3909 posts) -

Yeah, I did and still do. I just wish the engineers would address the problems with it currently.

#34 Posted by AlexW00d (6061 posts) -

If they worked I would.

#35 Posted by Branthog (7332 posts) -

I could not care less about bullshit fucking "achievements". The only kind of thing I would like to have tracked is a list of games you've beat and maybe the percentage of the way you've made it through games that are not yet completed. Whether I killed 53,948 of a type of monster or collected a bunch of bullshit "pad the game with nonsense so we can claim it has more game play" flags is irrelevant.

#36 Posted by YoungFrey (1319 posts) -

I think the achievement tracking for 360 games is better on TrueAchievements, but I like the way Giant Bomb gives you a grade relative to other players.  I like to at least get a B in any game I like .  I use that as my metric for experiencing the game to a decent degree.

#37 Posted by LiquidSwords (2739 posts) -

Depends on the game I'm playing. Like that GB did this for peoples profile.
