Every time.

#14 Posted by X19 (2304 posts) -

Every time. Mainly because I can't write more than two lines before my grammer goes to shit.

#15 Posted by AngriGhandi (745 posts) -

I only use it to start arguments with people and then go back and edit everything so that the argument retroactively makes no sense and they look like a crazy person

All the time... Look! I'm doing it right now. Or am I?

#18 Edited by SMTDante89 (2540 posts) -

Sometimes.  Deal with it.

I am a grammar Nazi, but I also think faster than I can type. This leads to jumbled terribleness. Edits are usually required to rectify the situation.

If I actually add content to a post, I will always include an "EDIT:" tag in order to maintain an accurate historical record.

WAT.

#21 Posted by CharlesAlanRatliff (5371 posts) -

Sometimes.

#22 Posted by Empirepaintball (1389 posts) -

I do instead of double posting, yes.

#23 Posted by HitmanAgent47 (8576 posts) -

Almost every post. I sort of feel like I want to get the thought out there quickly before I forget. Then I like to refine it or add most stuff to it.

#24 Posted by LiquidS (971 posts) -

If i misspeel something I always edit the post.

I always edit my post for grammatical clarity and spelling mistakes. People who don't edit are assholes.
#26 Posted by MadeinFinland (839 posts) -

I was going to post something then edit my post, but apparently everyone else already has done so to theirs.

Same with me, and sometimes I just completely miss a whole word, but I never read back to check.

Why haven't you edited it yet?
#29 Posted by Jamer91 (132 posts) -

I only edit when I've made a spelling mistake lol

#30 Posted by TheSeductiveMoose (3617 posts) -

If I notice an error, or want to add something more.

#31 Posted by JJWeatherman (14553 posts) -

Oh, Claude. You and your polls.

I do edit my posts quite often. After all these years I still suck at typing, so I often need to fix errors.

This.

EDIT: and this.
#34 Posted by Yummylee (21203 posts) -

I'm prone to making a lot of mistakes when I post - mostly down to how fast I have a habit of typing stuff - so yeah, I'm always editing everything, even if it doesn't need to be I'll select 'edit' just to make sure.

#35 Posted by Choi (534 posts) -

Yeah, usually for spelling errors and to add things I forget to mention in the first place (there's always some of those).

#36 Edited by SteamPunkJin (1286 posts) -

Sometimes I will, but in general it's only if I notice a spelling or grammar issue and I do RIGHT after I post, I try not to edit content because that's trying to rewrite a conversation.

* See, it just happened. This is not a joke -_-

#41 Posted by Jasta (2217 posts) -

I do from time to time.

#42 Posted by TheSilentTruth (1106 posts) -

When I spell something wrong, though I do take the time to proofread before posting.

#43 Posted by ProfessorEss (7253 posts) -

Obsessively.

#44 Edited by Zimbo (875 posts) -

Never!

#45 Posted by President_Barackbar (3415 posts) -

I definitely do if I make any grammatical/spelling errors that I catch after the fact.

#46 Posted by Sweep (8782 posts) -

Yeah, because my spelling sucks and I always have to go back and correct stuff -____-
