...before moving onto a new title? It's a curious subject, for sure.

I play one to completion most the time. Unless it's Christmas or something.

I can't enjoy myself unless i have at least 6 titles pending in Steam
I can't enjoy playing a game for more than 30 minutes, which is why 30 minz of 6 different games a day, fills up my gaming time

There are only a few games that are so good and capturing that i play them exclusively from beginning to end, the last one being AC: Brotherhood

Right now i'm playing The Witcher, Crysis, Crysis 2, Dead Space 2, Bioshock, Alice and Oblivion

Kind of both; I'm playing a ton of games, but I'm mostly focusing on one or two games, Half-Life being my most devoted project.

A bit of both, I usually play one XBLA title and one "normal" game at a time.

I never play multiple games at a time. I play either from beginning to end without touching another game, or until I get extremely bored and don't play it again for a few months (which usually means I forget important stuff and have to start over when I finally feel like playing again.)

I wouldn't feel I'd be giving the story of a game a fair turn if I didn't dedicate my gaming time to that game, and that game alone! I'm a game monogamist!

But I do fool around on MP modes of other games whilst completing some games... it doesn't mean anything!

I never play multiple games in parallel, I do however give everything I buy a quick 10-30min play test before it goes to the "unfinished stuff" heap and I go back to whatever game I was playing before that.

I have a focus, but I have too much ground to cover so that luxury is, well, a luxury.

On my consoles I only ever have one going at a time. On my PC I tend to have several going at once.

One to completion!

I'm not that good handling multiple games at a time, heh!

Depends.

Right now I'm playing three fighting games semi-seriously, but that's fighting games. Generally speaking I only play one-two games at a time unless I'm super hype about 'em.

Y'know, I get what you mean, but I have to say; I lol'd.

I am currently playing Fallout 3, Oblivion, Saints Row 2, Alan Wake, NHL 11 (idk if you'd count this, but I do play it almost daily), and Far Cry 2 soon enough. So yes.

I play one at time, I like to finish my games and have more than one game going on is distracting.

I'll play each game in bursts, makes each one last longer and gives me more variety, but if it's a game i'm really into, I'll play all of it in one or two sittings.

One game for a console, one game for the pc and one game for the handhelds at a time, so I am never running more than three at a time. Although, for some reason my currently playing list is longer than three.  Hmm.

I try to just have one, but at the moment I have both Madness Returns and Shadows of the Damned. I'll probably finish Shadows first because it is a shorter game.

I can understand playing one game to completion -- you like to devote time. However, if you wait too long then you forget everything you've done.

I try to play one at a time till I beat it or get bored with it, I'd rather not be distracted.

I'm currently playing MGS4 (First Time), Uncharted 2 (First Time), Trenched, and a little TF2 all at the same time. Oh and WoW.@Bloodgraiv3 said:

ditto. I can occasionally pick up and play non-story games as well, (e.g. Fifa, Forza etc), but I have to finish a story game to completion. If I change games part way through, then all is lost (I will have to start Fallout: New Vegas again despite having put in 20+ hours)

I'll do one on each system, currently playing Dungeon Siege 3 on PC, mopping up trophies in Infamous 2 on PS3, Trenched on X360, and some Ghost Recon on 3DS.

I try my best to only focus on one game at a time, but that doesn't always work out so great.

Seeing as right now I'm playing through Portal 2, Shadows of the Damned, and F.3.A.R, I'd say that I play through multiple games at a time.

I'm constantly switching between games. It's rare that I just steam through a game with out playing anything else here and there. Mass Effect 2 is the only game recently I can recall doing that with. All of my games are constantly getting love.

Depends on how much I like the game. If I'm really into it, I'll play it multiple times. Otherwise, it's just a buy-play-forget game.

I'll only play one game at a time, though I might not always finish that one game, and might go back to it later.  Example: I spent about 20 hours playing Super Robot Wars Alpha 3.  I put it on hold and moved onto Super Robot Wars Z.  I intend to go back to @3 after Z is over(which is a good 60 hours unto itself).  Only one game at a time, but not necessarily to completion.

I'm pretty ocd about these things, I can only really play one at a time. The same goes for books as well.
