Yes, I respect history and knowledge and the games played.
EDIT Motherfucker
RESPECT
Do you respect consoles you never owned or played?
Sure. Only recently I decided to own all the current ones, but I respect the oldies. Hell yeah, other motherfucker making a comeback.
Of course. I mean, I have mad respect for the WonderSwan.
And the Lynx. Oh wait, I've played one of those.
@Claude: No, I've never proclaimed to be cool haha. Just old (well, ok not that old but older then some) and way to into video games.
They call me mad, but at least I enjoy myself.
and just to be clear, the only systems I dont "respect" are the ones that did nothing for the medium which is why they failed. I guess a good example would be Gizmondo or maybe even the Pippin.
I don't think I've ever held a SNES controller in my hands. I may be misremembering (I always thought that was a word) but I definitely never owned one. But other than that, I never played an Atari 2600 or an Amiga or anything from that generation but I definitely have respect for them.
Respect is not the word I would use. I don't respect any console, what is there to respect? I can appreciate them for the games they had or what they did to gameing as a whole.
Does that not mean respect. Am I missing something, here?@JoeyRavn said:
As many said, I don't know if I'd call it "respect", but I acknowledge the strong points of consoles like the Dreamcast or the PS2, even though I never owned any of them.
This post makes the most sense in this thread so I'm just gonna quote it.
