By the way, I think it's time for Harmonix to lead the way, if they haven't already.

I don't know what's to disapprove of Guitar Hero for besides not liking it, but no, in general I have issues with Activision's entire business philosophy.

I'm bored of the music game fad, I get way more satisfaction jamming songs with real instruments.

Never really even got into the music games to begin with, but when Activision started taking them on it just all went even further downhill.

Harmonix is 10 times cooler than Activision. They seem like they really want to run the brand into the ground by releasing 10 Guitar Hero games a year.

I lost interest in Activision when they dropped those bunch games "because they couldn't be made into a franchise" or words to that effect, also last year when they said Treyarc was going to develop the next CoD game

I have no problem with Activision milking franchises. Just because people are dumb enough to pay full price for minimal updates doesnt mean i should slight the company.

Agreed. I feel like sometimes people forget these companies are in business to make money. If we as consumers are still buying all 12 GH products or whatever they release this year, who is really to blame?

After playing GH3, I felt the urge to drink a Red Bull, chew some 5 gum, and visit my local Pontiac dealer. Fucking sellouts. GH3 already sold like a billion $$$, so they had to make even more money.

It took me spending 190 euros on World Tour to realize I don't give a shit for Guitar Hero anymore. Rock Band is where it's at.
