Do you use the white background or the black background?

Black, although ever since the update, the white background looks pretty good as well.

I must admit that I had no idea you could switch to white, but black bg is still better anyway.

Surprising number of people saying white. Then again, everyone who clicked the "there are options" one are using black too I guess. I might check out white again seeing as people are saying it looks better than before, but black is the way GB is meant to be seen.

Black background.  It's really easy on the eyes, especially at night with the lights out.  Lol this is actually one of the reasons that draw me to Giant Bomb more often.

Oooh. While looking at GB at work and using white, it looks a little more innocuous.

I use black on Giant Bomb and whatever the default is on the other Whiskey Media sites. I just checked the white version of Giant Bomb...haha, white version, and it looks a lot better than the last time I checked. But once you go black, you don't go back.

I like the aesthetics of black but I find white text on black harder to read.  Also at work where the monitor is a cheapo TFT the black looks really crappy with the low contrast ratio.

I used to use white on everything. Now I've switched to black.

I didn't like the White background before, but this prompted me to check out the "new" version of it. It looks a lot better than before! At first impression, I'm inclined to say the Black is better, but I think I'll give the White a go for a week or so. Since the update, I've found certain things to be harder to read than before on the Black background.

The white background makes the site look kind of amateurish in my opinion.  Black looks classy.

And yeah, it feels offensively bright when you first start trying to use it.

Black on white is like staring into a light bulb.

Been using the white background since the update. Much easier to read long-form content for me. Also my room is really bright during the day and makes the black background harder to read.

I got used to the white background. I've been using it since it came out.

White of course, I enjoy reading like a normal person.

If I'm honest, I didn't even know you could change to a white layout.

Black.  I have really sensitive eyes and white is a little too bright for me, especially when I first get up and my roommate is still asleep, brightens up the room a little too much.

I use white, because at work my second screen is alot dimmer than my primary one. This makes seeing fonts on black backgrounds harder, in the main forum area. Only just found it, thanks to this thread. Cheers OP!

Dark. The white one looks more developed though. Wish we could get the white version's wallpaper with the dark (it certainly isn't black) version's tables.

If there wasn't so much middle-of-the-road gray with the black background I'd gladly use it, but half the text is too difficult to read because of that.
