Should there be a game of The Dark Knight and who would you want to make it?

Do you want a Dark Knight game?
Most movie-games though are to coincide with the film - if its already been released then there would be more time for the games development surely.
A Dark Knight game is already in the works.

hmm....President of Wood related issues...
Gah that just sounds lame
Back to the question, no. Because pretty much all movie games suck
Oh there'll more than definitely be a Dark Knight game. 90% chance it'll be terrible. The remaining 10% chance is that it'll be playable to a certain extent.
It'll be developed by some unknown company, ported to PC and DS for no particular reason by some other unknown company, and they'll all sell tons and make a load of money.
Imo it doesn't make a difference if the movie is a blockbuster or not. The fact is that the games are rushed out before release date or shortly after release to build hype of the movie and if people like the movie they will buy the game etc.
I have found a few movie games that i didn't mind, i played a few of the matrix ones for awhile, but so many of them sucked that it wasn't funny.
If they can release dark knight and actually have it in development for more than 6 weeks then it may be good. Who knows, maybe this game will be the one that changes my mind.
Interesting. You would think if Warner Brothers have bought Monolith then they would be the developers.
EA made the batman begins game, so maybe they still got the rights to make games from the movie series,,, and pandemic games are published by EA, aye?
well dont care too much who makes it, i just hope its better then ur avrage movie to game title.
..... hope they make a semi-open world... like not whole gotham, but that the level ur on gives you like a choice how you wanna do ur objective etc
I'd like a good Batman game, but I'd bet dollars to donuts a Dark Knight game would suck the Joker's crazy balls.
You know what I'm actually going to go against the common belief that a TDK game will suck. I'm quite surprised that EA and Pandemic have been extremely quiet that the game is in development at all. If it was going to be the standard cash-in the game would've been out by now or at least announced now if it was going to be released with the DVD/Blu-ray release of the film in December. I think Pandemic will break out of the mold of most film games being crap since they're talented developers and the engine they're using should produce some quality visuals.
"They should make a batman game with the same dark theme not a game based on the movie
"
I think thats what they're doing at this point. It wouldn't make that much sense to release a TDK which directly follows the events of the film months after the movie has been released. I'm hoping it'll just be set in the world of films and allow the player to drive around the Batpod.

If its EA and Pandemic it gives me some more confidence in the title. Pandemic have released a few goodies, and the fact that they aren't trying to flaunt the game like a 2 dollar hooker makes it seem like they actually want to concentrate on making the game. So here's to hoping boys!
I want a Batman game based on the more darker, gritty and realistic new movies instead of the comic or cartoon version. However i DO NOT want a movie to game adaptation, they just fail on so many levels and are huge disappointments as Iron Man recently showed me. A Batman game would be great but only if proper time and money was put into getting it perfect, plus they need to get the real actors for the voices or it wouldn't be the same for me.
I was listening to a local radio station (AM 1130 KFAN) in Minneapolis/St. Paul that has a weekley video game show with editors from EGM. The editor did not confirm, but STRONGLY hinted that a Dark Knight is in the works. Developer is still unknown.
Kinda' nice that EGM is based here :)
