Does anybody else prefer Call of Duty 4 to MW2?

Idk if it is just me but after putting about 2 days into the new Modern warfare, I much prefer the old one, the new one is just too hectic and they tried to cram too much into the game.  It seems that perfection was achieved and then they tried to improve on perfection and all they did was break it, just my two cents

And yes i think the MW2 campaign is way better than the COD4 one.

Based on the thousands of other threads stating the same thing, I would say yes.

But COD4 itself pretty much deserves recognition for introducing the perk system; which is loved and loathed by fans alike (arguably the game that split the fanbase apart). Its classic and it offers excellent map designs (with the exception of a few) in comparison to MW2's maps. Unfortunately COD4 made people like me more pissed off because of the constant rapage from helicopters, nadespams, martyrdom, M16/P90 users and juggernaut.

I think that COD4 is better than MW2 because it was so close to a true perfect shooter.  It isn't that MW2 is bad but they had to change things or be panned for releasing the exact same game with new maps.

COD4 and World at War are much, much better.
 
MW2 is just turrible. I sold it about a week after I played the Bad Company 2 beta.

I liked CoD 4 more then MW2.  But then again the two are so much alike and I played the hell out of CoD MW.  So I was kind of bored at the point where I picked up MW2.  I liked Spec Ops.  But that's about it.

I hated MW2's single player story and rush rush rush into madness flow.  I still play COD4's SP missions on Arcade Mode to this day.  For multi I used to play COD4 a lot, but lost interest eventually.  I've not bothered with MW2's because it looks to me like a spamfest.   Also, it's not balanced for lean.
