Does Giant Bomb load extremely slow for anyone else?

Like, it takes at least 20 seconds for anything on the site to load, is it just my connection or what?

no the site is being bombarded with users and is slow, it is being worked on however

It was earlier, but now it is running pretty fast, for me at least.

yeah this big influx of people must be hell on the servers.

The speed is going up and down. One minute I get page loads virtually instantly, the next they're taking 10 seconds.

Seems to alternate between slow and fast. The site being slow is actually good, though, since it means there's a lot of traffic.

Good to see it's nothing wrong with my connection a least... Oh well...

Well isn't it still in beta?

It was pretty fast earlier, but then the site started popping up with this 505 error and now it's slowed down quite a bit.

The loads times have gotten better for me. Probably because there was such a huge influx of new members.

Ya, it seems way faster today then it did yesterday.

It's been slow but I assumed it was growing pains.

My guess is that they still need to do a bit of optimizations to the websites code and possibly some database optimizations.  I'm sure by the time the beta ends it will be running as smooth as comicvine dos.

yup, has definitely been running slow lately. Until now, my pages are loading a little faster. Hang in there.

It's fast for me. 

I have noticed a big increase in speed recently, especially after the first day. Browsing the site is ok, but trying to edit and change things is hella slow.

It'll get better soon.
