Does Resistance Retrabution run on the syphon filter engine?

It plays and looks like syphon filter and even has some of the same sound effects. Does anyone know if they're made by the same team/ run on the same engine?

It runs on a modified version of Logan Shadow's engine, so technically, yes. The same team that made Logan's Shadow made this.

Resistance Retribution is by Sony Bend, and yes, it uses the 3rd generation Bend Engine for the PSP.
