Doing It Dave Style

As you all know Dave likes some pretty different games, especially in comparison to the rest of the crew. When he name drops these games either in live events or in the rare Dave-featured quicklook they usually go way over my head because they are A) Before my time or B) somewhat obscure. In any case these titles and his description of them almost always intrigue me, but I have never pursued them. Now I would like to finally like to try playing a bunch of the games that Dave has mentioned off-hand and was fond of over the time including games from the Random PC Game videos. I am currently studying for a final in my summer class so I am not able to start spending time searching through the archives to find these videos yet, I would appreciate it if people started listing off some of the games and I will compile them to a list as they are brought up. It also feels like good timing with an upcoming steam sale possibly discounting some of the games here.

Hopefully, some of you fellow duders will embark on this random ass PC game adventure inspired by Dave with me.

Yeah it sounded Hardcore.

Jagged Alliance is a go to for his stuff.

I have updated the list and put whether the games are available on Steam, Good Old Games or both. Most of the games are thus far are available on GOG and some are on Steam as well. They are all pretty cheap too, which is nice. However, I have not been able to locate a place to digitally download Wizardry 8, if anyone knows of a place to buy it let me know.

This is a cool idea. Even though Dave doesn't give a lot of reviews out on games, I tend to agree with his opinions on games more often than not. So I'll join you on this PC gaming adventure. Looking forward to seeing the list grow even more.

The idea of starting an Endurance Run episode and hearing like 14 Daves talking over each other tickles me in just the right way.

It's been my personal missions for like two years to get Dave to do the Wizardry 8 ER. I throw it in almost every time Wizardry comes up. I don't want to overdo it (but I do), but I'm not about to stop here. The people demand it!

I think Divine Divinity is todays deal on GOG and its great game worth checking out. You posted some really good games and you should play them ASAP.

Yup. Divine Divinity is 60% off today making it like $2.

As far as Wizardry 8 goes there are no places to digitally download it so the only option is to spend around $70 for it on Amazon or ebay at the moment.
